Disney characters interacting with guests at their various theme parks around the world are expected to behave much like the way they are depicted on screen.

After all, the park characters are a real-life extension of themselves from the animated films for the purposes of suspending the disbelief of park guests and dazzling children who are seeing their heroes.

But when it comes to seeing popular characters like Mickey or Minnie outside the realm of Disney parks–like in Times Square in NYC–all bets are off.

You would never expect these knock-off characters to embody the behavior and likeness of the real characters Disney fans love.

Sometimes, that is a detriment to their branding.

However, seeing these likable characters letting loose without the confines of adhering to company expectations can be extremely satisfying to watch.

Such was the case when Woody from Toy Story was spotted somewhere in what appeared to be New York City–as Cinderella's castle was nowhere to be found.

Woody's wild moves here indicated maybe he did have a snake in his boot.

The clip above received over 5 million TikTok views, and a reshared clip on Twitter hit 2.5 million views and over 85K likes.

His giddyup was definitely a vibe.

So there you have it. If you want a down-and-dirty version of Woody getting his groove on, there's no need to spend your money on admission at Disneyland to watch him get freaky.

Just come on down to the open playground that is NYC and mingle with the denizens of characters who are out for an unbridled good time.
