Colin Hanks Just Trolled His Dad On His Birthday With A Photo That Most Definitely Is Not His Dad, And Twitter Is LOLing

Tom Hanks turned 63 on July 9th. What better way to say "Happy Birthday" than with a little trolling-with-love from his son, Colin?

The mischievous scion did what any good son does to wish his famous father the very best. Who sends cards anymore? This is 2019, and any celebratory shout outs are done on Twitter.

"Wanna wish a Happy 63rd Birthday to my dad!!!" tweeted Colin.

He continued:

"He's a good man with a great sense of humor. Love ya Pops!"

When it comes to said "sense of humor," the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The 41-year-old actor from CBS's Life In Pieces shared a picture honoring his famous dad from Forrest Gump (1994) and Cast Away (2000).

Except it wasn't his dad.

Nope, the man in the photo is none other than that other Hollywood icon, Michael Keaton, star of Birdman (2014) and Spotlight (2016).

Twitter couldn't help but play along with Colin's wacky ruse.

One user brought Hanks's former Bosom Buddies co-star Peter Scolari into the parental swapping joke.

Will Colin's real dad please stand up?

Colin's tweet led Twitter on a glitch-fest.

The identity mismatch is an ongoing prank between father and son, where only the son is the active participant.

It started in 2016 when Colin posted a picture of Keaton from 1982's Night Shift to wish his dad Happy Father's Day.

Colin repeated the gag in 2018 on Father's Day with a picture of Keaton in Mr. Mom (1983).

"Happy Fathers Day to all the dad's out there," wrote Colin.

"But a special Happy Fathers Day to the man I call Pops, @tomhanks. Shown here in a picture from his younger days."

For this year's Father's Day, Colin posted a picture of Michael Keaton as auto industry employee Hunt Stevenson from the 1986 comedyGung Ho.

He sang his "dad's" praises with this caption:

"Happy Fathers Day, to all the dads out there but specifically to my dad. He's a good man and always lead by example."
"Like that time he rallied the guys to try and make that 15,000 cars per month quota to impress the big wigs at Assan Motors."
"He lead by example and gave his all. Of course, they didn't make the quota but it was the effort that counts! Way to go Dad!"

Michael Keaton, who is not related to the Hanks', will turn 68 on September 5.

The father son duo (the actual ones) both appeared in the film The Great Buck Howard, available here. Other than that film from 2009, the Hanks have had separate careers.

White House Ripped After Making Bonkers Earth Day Claim About Trump And 'Science'

President Donald Trump is a pretty well-known science denier so it's perhaps no surprise that the White House was soundly mocked after sharing a press release for Earth Day on Tuesday claiming that "We Finally Have a President Who Follows Science"—which is quite something given so many federal workers from health and science agencies have been fired in recent weeks.

The White House claimed that Trump is "leveraging environmental policies rooted in reality to promote economic growth while maintaining the standards that have afforded Americans the cleanest air and water in the world for generations."

Vacationers got more than they bargained for when the interior of their plane caved in during a Delta Airlines flight scheduled from Atlanta to Chicago on Monday, April 14th.

The interior malfunction occurred on a Boeing (yes, that Boeing) 717 as passengers had to use their arms to hold a detached white panel up until the flight attendants could temporarily secure the detached ceiling part.

RFK Jr.'s Bizarre Claim About Testosterone And Sperm Count In Teen Boys Leaves Even Jesse Watters Puzzled

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had even Fox News host Jesse Watters baffled after claiming during an appearance on Watters' program that testosterone levels and sperm count in teen boys are lower than the levels seen in 68-year-old men.

Kennedy—who is 71—made the claim during a conversation about the government’s plans to ban eight common artificial food dyes by year’s end. After outlining his push to combat chronic disease and listing a range of health problems affecting Americans, he shifted focus to male fertility, which made things very, very weird.
