Fan BingBing (#范冰冰) is known in the United States for her portrayal of Blink in X-Men: Days of Future Past. In China, she is an even bigger star, making her one of the highest-paid actors in the world. But recently, she has gone missing from social media.

It has been over two months since Fan was seen in public. Rumors of her involvement in "yin-yang contracts" have been swirling.

"Yin-yang contracts" are when an actor has two contracts. One of these contracts lists the real salary while the other is fraudulent and lists a smaller salary which is then reported for tax purposes.

There are also rumors that Fan has received a ban from appearing in films.

With Fan's last public appearance being at a children's hospital on July 1st, fans are growing concerned about her whereabouts.

Furthermore, she recently scored a zero out of 100 in the 2017-18 China Film and Television Star Social Responsibility Report.

This report was developed amidst China's attempt to crack down on the entertainment industry, which they feel has a negative impact on the country's social values.

Many fans of Ms. BingBing believe she may have been detained by Chinese authorities for tax related issues.

People are worried for her.

Some people find the social responsibility ranking disturbing.

It also appears that China is beginning to take down any ads or billboards with her likeness. Furthermore, many locals are not privy to the same details as Westerners.

We hope that Fan BingBing is safe and simply staying out of the public eye.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
