Biden Campaign Taunts Trump For Finishing Last In Presidential Ranking Survey

After Donald Trump was rated last in a ranking of all U.S presidents as part of the Presidential Greatness Project, the Biden campaign taunted him with a snarky Presidents' Day message reminding him of his dead last ranking.

In a recent survey conducted by the 2024 Presidential Greatness Project, former President Donald Trump found himself at the bottom of the rankings, eliciting a sharp response from President Joe Biden's reelection campaign.

The expert survey, conducted by a panel of specialists in the American presidency between November 15 and December 31, 2023, aimed to assess the overall greatness of U.S. presidents on a scale of zero to 100. Abraham Lincoln claimed the top spot with a 95.03 average, while Trump ranked last with a 10.92 average. Biden secured the 14th position with a 62.7 rating.

Responding to the survey, Biden's campaign released the following statement on Monday:

"Happy Presidents' Day! ... Unless You're Donald Trump."

Campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz added:

"It takes a lot to be known as the absolute worst in your profession in the history of your country. But Donald Trump managed to do it, and it's pretty clear why."
"Donald Trump spent his four years in office working for one thing only: himself. Meanwhile, President Biden wakes up every day fighting for the American people, helping to create more jobs in three years than any president has created in four, and investing in America at record levels."
"The choice in this election is clear: a president who has consistently delivered for the American people or Donald Trump who experts agree might be the worst to ever do it."

Trump was swiftly mocked.

In response, Trump's campaign criticized the survey, pointing out that the co-directors of the Presidential Greatness Project, Brandon Rottinghaus and Justin Vaughn, are "Democrat donors." Records show Rottinghaus contributed $10 to the Democratic PAC ActBlue, while Vaughn donated $450 to the Idaho Bankers Political Action Committee. This is a common tactic of Trump and his defenders when something doesn't go his way.

Trump, who spent Presidents' Day addressing his ongoing legal challenges, including four criminal indictments, accused the justice system of "election interference," asserting that "these radical left lunatic prosecutors and judges are not allowed to be doing this."

The former President said this "interference... must be immediately stopped" and accused his critics of being "communists" and "threats to democracy."
