A truly great wedding photographer has many gifts.

These include capturing the essence of the happy couple's joyous day as well as some more candid moments which might have otherwise gone unnoticed.

But how about a wedding photographer who can detect if your marriage will succeed or not?

Arkansas based wedding photographer Shayla Herrington can reportedly do just that.

She recently shared the three telltale signs of a doomed marriage on her TikTok page, in a video appropriately titled, "3 signs a couple may split", which has received over 111 thousand views.

Harrington began the video by explaining she learned to look out for these three red flags from an experienced wedding photographer she once worked under.

"Mind you, this photographer has been in the industry for 10 or 15 years, so I was really interested to hear their theory on this."

According to Harrington and her unnamed mentor, the first sign of a marriage doomed to fail is if one half of the newly wed couple takes more than three family photos without their new spouse.

"This one kind of makes sense to me, just because, you know, you might get a few alone with your mom and dad, but to kick them out of more than three photos just seems a little suspicious."

The second sign of trouble ahead is if the bridesmaids or groomsmen neglect to mention the spouse on the other side of the aisle in their toasts or in videos as they're getting ready.

"And that's typically because they don't like them."

The third and final sign a divorce lawyer will be needed in the future is if one half of the happy couple spends more time with friends and family at the reception than with their new spouse.

Harrington ended the video by asking her TikTok followers if they agreed with whether or not these are the signs of a marriage doomed to fail.

"So, what do you guys think? Do you think this theory holds some truth?"

Several people, including a number of fellow wedding photographers. agreed wholeheartedly should any of the above happen at a wedding, the marriage would definitely not last.

Others, however, were less convinced a marriage would end in divorce should any of the above events occur, with several giving examples to the contrary.

A few TikTokers, including more wedding photographers, chimed in with some additional signs of a marriage destined to fail, as well as some signs of a marriage destined to succeed.

One imagines Harrington's future clients will be making sure to avoid those three signs to a doomed marriage when their big day arrives.

Though, as long as there's love, Harrington's three signs might not matter in the end.

Yet Florence Pugh says the reality is far messier.
