TikToker and Good Samaritan Kieran Murray acted vigilantly when he saw what he thought was a fire blazing in someone's apartment.

But it wasn't a fire at all.

After calling 911 and reporting the fireā€”and after two fire trucks showed up, sirens blaringā€”the creator found out that he called the FDNY fire department because of a Yule log video playing on a gigantic TV.

Oops.

The TikToker began his video:

"The craziest thing just happened."
"I saw a fire in a building and called 911."
"But it turns out it was just an eight-foot TV with a Yule log on it."

He shared that he ran down to tell the firefighters what he saw, to which they replied:

"Yeah, bro. It was a Yule log. What are you doing?"

And we have to agree.

Plus, no one was hurt AND we got a great story out of it.

Well done, Kieran.
