Tavaris Williams appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to talk about his viral NSFW guess on 'Wheel of Fortune'—and Kimmel even gave him a hilarious chance to redeem himself.

The Wheel of Fortune contestant who inserted himself into the annals of "Hilarious Game Show Moment" history was given a chance to redeem himself on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for his NSFW response.

Tavaris Williams was a contestant on the May 23 episode of WOF when he incorrectly guessed that the answer to a four-word puzzle in the "Phrase" category was "Right in the butt."

The correct response was "This is the best."

You can see a clip of his snafu here.

After his unintentionally racy gameplay went viral, Williams, a Port St. Lucie, Florida native, was offered a chance to explain himself when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! via teleconference from his brother's house.

Kimmel started things off by telling Williams he didn't care what WOF host Pat Sajak said because "That was a great answer."

Williams responded by recalling:

“Pat was the best. He made me feel so great about that at the break."
"He said, ‘You know, we’ll find a tactful way of editing it. I don’t know how, but we’ll do it.’”

When asked how he wound up on WOF, currently in its 41st season, Williams said his kids dared him to apply to be a contestant because they're fans and watch the show together.

"I applied, and they called me," he said.

But after trying to solve the puzzle with his phrase suggesting a preferred point of entry, Williams wondered how his viral moment would be edited after the episode was filmed in early April.

He told Kimmel:

“I told my wife immediately after: ‘I will keep everything a secret except this—this you have to know about. They said they might edit it, but I don’t know what it’s going to look like.’"
"And then it was out of sight, out of mind until the world reminded me of what I said.”

Kimmel wanted to clarify if the phrase Williams shouted out to solve the puzzle was one he used frequently, to which Williams replied:

“I have never used those words in sequential order a day in my life, Jimmy.”

Social media users thought he was so cocksure.

Kimmel asked him if he would consider merchandising opportunities, as "Right in the butt" boxer shorts could be in demand and even be used for a "colonoscopy awareness" campaign.

"I thought about all those," said Williams of the merch opportunities, laughing, and continued:

"But I'm really trying to see how I can get into the commercial game."
"Maybe this is my end."

We see what you did there, Tavaris.

After President Donald Trump claimed that his new White House ballroom is "very popular" with the American public, CNN shared a hilariously shady poll that gets to the truth of the matter.

Last year, Trump ordered the demolition of the entire East Wing to make way for a 90,000 square-foot ballroom that will dwarf the size of the White House itself, sparking alarm from historical preservationists and the public alike.

It's well-known across the internet that it takes forever for men to use the restroom. For dads especially, in the time it takes them to poop, when they return to the house, their kids will have aged seven years, and their baby will have learned to walk.

These are jokes, of course, but it's an internet consensus that men spend a really long time on the porcelain throne.

In early 2024, 49-year-old Antonia Eastwood married Ashley Monk after about five months of dating. During the ceremony, Antonia tripped while walking down the aisle.

Antonia and Ashley were both suspicious that she did not trip accidentally and that Ashley's sister, Gemma, actually tripped her. Gemma and Antonia were not close, and the couple also believed that Gemma might be jealous that they were marrying after five months, though she'd been with her childhood sweetheart for 20 years without tying the knot.
