Mom Slams Random Guy For Complimenting Her Young Daughters' Bodies At Restaurant

Mom and TikToker @julesfassinger spoke out on TikTok after a "f**king creep" complimented her 8 and 10-year-old daughters' bodies at a restaurant.

We should all understand that there are behaviors you don't showcase around strangers, and there are things that you definitely don't do around a stranger's kids.

A leading one would be commenting on a child's body shape and attractiveness, which is not only inappropriate but alarming.

Mom and TikToker @julesfassinger said that she was "shaking" when she returned to her car from waiting to pick up a to-go pizza order. She'd arrived a little early and was sitting at a table outside the pick-up location while her two daughters, ages 8 and 10, played nearby.

All of a sudden, while waiting, a "somewhat fit-ish" man approached and watched the TikToker's daughters playing. After a moment, he told the mom that she had "nice children."

She accepted the compliment, thinking nothing of it until the man added:

"Their father must be slim."

The TikToker was surprised and asked the man what he said, to which he added:

"Their father must be slim. They have nice bodies."

The mom pointed out:

"What a weird comment."

The man doubled down:

"It's just an observation."

The mom set a boundary:

"Don't comment on my kids' bodies."

The man ended the conversation by making another weird comment, stating that he hoped that the TikToker did not live in the area, perhaps to avoid further conversations like this, and the mom Uno-reversed the comment, saying she hoped he didn't instead.

Some applauded the mom for advocating for her children.

Others assumed that he was trying to make a disrespectful comment about her appearance by saying that the girls got their slimness from their father instead.

Fortunately, this did not faze the TikToker.

In another TikTok, she addressed the fact that women have to be willing to stand up for themselves, and she was proud of herself for being strong and not backing down in that moment.

Some TikTokers had made comments about her attitude and her explicit language, but she believed the moment called for it.

Replying to @Rachel

Hopefully, this was just an alarming misunderstanding, with a guy meaning well about the children and then hoping that the mom didn't live around there so they wouldn't have encounters after this awkward one in the future—but far too many instances like this exist for that to be likely.

Fortunately, this mom did the right thing and stood up for her daughters, while also modeling to them how to stand up for themselves.

Stephen Colbert Rips CBS For Banning Interview With Texas Democrat Due To FCC Threat

Late-night host Stephen Colbert criticized CBS for attempting to ban him from interviewing Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, and from even mentioning the interview on air, due to threats from Brendan Carr, the chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Talarico, who represents Texas in the state House, has previously made headlines for calling out Texas Republicans for "trying to force public schools" to display the Ten Commandments and has generated significant buzz as a forceful voice for Democrats in a state largely in the hands of the GOP.

American Girl Dolls Just Got An 'Ozempic' Makeover For The 'Modern Era'—And People Are Not Impressed

There's nothing quite like the grip American Girl dolls had on Millennials during the mid-1990s and early 2000s.

Created in 1986 by the Pleasant Company, American Girl dolls were meant to model positive core values with dolls that resembled young women from various time periods across American history and different favorite hobbies, like horseback riding and cheerleading.

'Wall Street Journal' Ripped After Saying Millennials And Gen Zers Are 'Splurging' On 'Rotisserie Chickens' Instead Of Buying Homes

It's sadly all too common for older generations to look down on millennials and criticize their constant complaining about how "hard" life is and how they can't afford to be homeowners.

That criticism almost always ignores factors like the rising cost of housing, increasingly low salaries, and a continuous housing shortage.

Trump Roasted After Making Bonkers Comparison Between Gas Prices In Iowa And California

President Donald Trump was widely mocked for making a nonsensical comparison between gas prices in Iowa versus California during a ceremony at the White House in which he was given an award for being the "undisputed champion of beautiful clean coal."

Trump's recognition reportedly came from the Washington Coal Club, a pro-coal advocacy organization with financial links to the sector. The award was presented by James Grech, chief executive of Peabody Energy, the nation’s largest coal producer. The bronze trophy depicts a miner equipped with a headlamp and pickaxe.
