WATCH: 'Saturday Night Live' Makes Fun of Boring Democrats

In light of the results of last week's election, which saw some major gains by Democrats in battleground states, many felt like it was a clear message to Donald Trump and Republicans that the Democrats were doing something right.

So, leave it to Saturday Night Live to cast some severe shade across that celebration by trolling the established Democratic leaders for continuing to believe they're the future of the party and the reason Democrats captured wins last Tuesday.

In an epic troll, SNL produced a fake ad which saw the likes of Nancy Pelosi (Kate McKinnon), Dianne Feinstein (Cecily Strong), Chuck Schumer (Alex Moffat), a Spanish-speaking Tim Kaine (Mikey Day) spouting out their typical talking points, along with some surprise guest appearances by McKinnon as Hillary Clinton, Jason Sudeikis as Joe Biden, and even Larry David as Bernie Sanders.

Then of course there's Donna Brazile (Leslie Jones), who's not having any of it.

Everyone in the skit shares the same stiff delivery that sounds only slightly like excitement, as Feinstein says "We're back, baby."

"You love our fresh new ideas delivered by fresh new faces by people like me, Nancy Pelosi," says McKinnon with no hint of life behind her eyes, her face barely moving.

But these Democrats are thinking about the upcoming elections as well, with Pelosi admitting, "We learned our lesson from the last election. We can't just appeal to coastal elites. We need mouth breathers from Wisconsin."

"And window lickers from Ohio as well," Feinstein adds.

At one point, Clinton asks to be given "just one more chance. And maybe one more after that." Brazile responds: "I thought she was dead."

By the end, the group declares in an "energetic" unison: "The Dems are back," after which a pissed Brazile waltzes out and says: "I will destroy all of this."

Many on Twitter appreciated the message SNL was trying to get across:

Of course there were many Trump supporters who were just happy to see the show target Democrats for once:

Although many people didn't really see the appeal either way:

Ah well. You win some, you lose some.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
