Former President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was one of the biggest purveyors of Trump's lie that widespread election fraud coordinated by Democrats delivered a false victory to President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Giuliani held farcical hearings and broadcast absurd claims about election proceedings in a number of state—actions which contributed to the storming of the United States Capitol this past January, before which Giuliani called for "trial by combat."

These lies eventually got Giuliani slapped with a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, the election software company frequently targeted by GOP misinformation about the election.

But it wasn't just Trump's lies about the election that Giuliani promoted, but about the pandemic that's killed over half a million Americans, about Trump's call with the Ukrainian President, about the Trump campaign's interactions with Russian officials, and a host of other issues.

Giuliani's peddling of misinformation is habitual, and a byproduct of defending the icon of an ecosystem of right-wing falsehoods.

So it came as a surprise on Wednesday when Giuliani tweeted about the perils of misinformation on social media.

The tweet linked to a half-hour episode of Giuliani's ironically titled Common Sense podcast, where he recites familiar talking points about the so-called fake news media and the rampant lies on social media outlets, apparently forgetting that his client was banned from Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for the violence that emerged from his lies.

People were amazed at Giuliani's lack of self-awareness.

The mockery was swift.

Giuliani is currently suspended from YouTube for two weeks for, you guessed it, peddling misinformation.

Gavin Newsom Just Epically Trolled JD Vance Over Tariffs With An AI Video About Couches

California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked Vice President JD Vance—and his love of couches—with an AI-generated video to troll him over the rising costs of goods due to President Donald Trump's retaliatory tariffs.

Earlier this week, Trump announced new tariffs: 10% on softwood timber and lumber, and 25% on “certain upholstered wooden products,” set to take effect October 14. The move follows Trump’s announcement last week of additional tariffs on kitchen cabinets, vanities, and other upholstered products, which will take effect October 1.
