The movie Don't Worry Darling, starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, comes out this autumn.

The film—a psychological thriller—is directed by Olivia Wilde. Excitement over the film has grown ever since the first trailer was released.

But Pugh commented recently she will not be discussing the now highly-anticipated sex scene her character shares with the character portrayed by pop-star and actor Harry Styles.

The trailer came out in May and ever since, fans have been focused on a specific scene shown in the trailer, one celebrating female pleasure and oral sex, but a sex scene nevertheless.

Pugh maintains that in a psychological thriller, there are other plot points to discuss.

Pugh said:

“When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it."
"It’s not why I’m in this industry."
"Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous pop star in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that."
"That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that."
"And the people who made it are bigger and better than that.”

People supported her decision wholeheartedly.

Others called out the media's obsession with discussing Pugh's co-star Harry Styles instead of Pugh's own performance.

Others claimed there was missing context from Pugh's remarks.

Style's romantic partner directed the film.

If there's anything fans of Pugh can agree on though, it's that they are excited to see her performance in the film.

Don't Worry Darling is scheduled for release on September 23, 2022 in the United States.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker issued the perfect response to President Donald Trump after Trump said Pritzker "ought to spend more time at the gym"—quite the laugh coming from a man who isn't in shape himself.

Pritzker's weight has long been the subject of attacks—Trump has previously said Pritzker was “too busy eating” to lead his state—and Trump added his latest insult to the mix while complaining about Democratic governors who've pushed back against his plans to deploy military troops into their states.
