TikToker Ben Keenan shared his warning of the kinds of people who don't make good travel companions—but not everyone agreed with his assessments or style of traveling.

A travel influencer on TikTok sparked a great debate after creating a video listing "the types of people you shouldn't take a trip with."

TikToker Ben Keenan (@ivebentraveling) shared with the 1.8 million viewers of his creation the kinds of people who make terrible travel companions, and, well, many disagreed with his analysis.

Keenan began the video:

"Here's a list of people you should absolutely not go on a trip with."

The first offense? Resting.

"People that need to recharge their battery in the middle of the day and force you to go back to the hotel or Airbnb to do that."

He added:

"I'm sorry you're telling me you can't not speak to me in a park or at a café, or with a glass of wine somewhere outdoors? You have to be in your bed?"

Related to the first item, the creator also mentioned you should not travel with "people who sleep in on vacation."

"Unless you have been up until 4 in the morning, there is absolutely zero reason that you need to be sleeping in until 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. every single day."
"I can absolutely promise you I did not pay for this trip to New York for you to lay in bed."

The next item needed no explanation.

"Picky eaters. That. Just picky eaters."

But "on that same note," the TikToker shared you should never travel with "people who want to always like eat meals at the same place you're staying."

He continued:

"Obviously, having food on hand is fine, but the people who actually want to go to the store and pick up, like, pasta supplies and then go back to your Airbnb and cook at home instead of going and trying local restaurants. That's an immediate no for me, dog."

Keenan next warned against traveling with "people who will not stipulate a budget until they get there."

"If you know you cannot spend more than $100 a day, let me know that upfront."
"I don't mind reducing what I'm spending or I don't mind increasing what I'm spending if I'm capable of doing that and keeping up with your idea of this vacation...but don't surprise me with a budget that is really high or budget that's really low once we're there."

The last bit advice was quite specific...but also quite funny.

"If you're going international, anyone named Rachel. If you're staying domestic, anyone by the name of Brad, Chad, or Thad."

Noted.

My opinions on this are extensive #traveltiktok #travelinspo

Some viewers were completely on Keenan's side and would make quite the compatible travel companions.

Others, however, thought that perhaps the TikToker would be an undesirable travel partner.

Regardless of which side you take, though, we can all agree that we should choose our travel companions wisely!

Wedding Photographer Reveals The Telltale Signs That A Couple Will Get A Divorce In Eye-Opening TikTok

We've all heard the saying, "When you know, you know."

Sometimes a relationship doesn't go the "normal" or "acceptable" way, like not meeting in conventional ways or not being together "long enough" before marrying, but when a couple knows they're in love, they know.

As much as the internet trolls might try to tear Sabrina Carpenter down, all she has to do is meet them with some honest confusion to shut them down.

Carpenter performed at Lollapalooza last weekend, including her award-winning song, 'Manchild,' which calls out a specific man in the lyrics for being self-centered, including the adjectives "slow," "stupid," and "useless."

Viral 'Pints And Ponytails' Event For Dads Who Want To Learn How To Do Their Daughters' Hair Is Giving Us All The Feels

Dads have a lot to learn when it comes to raising their kids, and in some case, single dads don't always have the same sounding board for their choices as married couples and co-parents.

This isn't talked about enough, but dads with daughters have the added pressure of learning how to take care of girls, from dressing them to taking care of their hair, which can be a very different experience from raising boys. If they weren't raised with sisters or female cousins, they could be at a total loss for how to approach this.
