People Break Down Which Things They'll Never Do Again In Their Life

Life can be boiled down to a long, sometimes interesting, series of choices. What we decide to eat for breakfast, wear for the day, listen to on the way to work, and who we talk to first thing can dictate everything else that happens. Sometimes, the effects are minimal, almost invisible to our day. Other times, the effects ripple out, leaving a trace in your mind you'll follow back to this newly established idea you'll never forget: Don't do this again. Ever.

These are those stories.

Reddit user, u/Yourmomhomo, wanted to hear about:

[SERIOUS] What's something you will never EVER do again?

Pizza...French Fries...Pizza...French Fries...Pizza...

Go skiing without knowing how to stop

ImThePara

I think you are underestimating yourself. You know how to stop. Now stopping safely.......

Who Would Ever Want To-Oh, You. You Would.

Probably sky diving. It was a lot of fun and an extreme experience for sure but once was enough!

_STY

Same here. It was incredible and looking back I'm glad I can say I did it. But mistakes were made, namely not being able to get a breath in throughout the freefall (some sort of weird reflex) meaning my heart was racing but I wasn't getting any air in. Almost blacked out

modfather84

I Mean, Yeah. That Checks Out.

Chop a habenero pepper and then scratch my junk

smutpeddlers_fck12

Ugh I did the same thing but to my eye. Never making that mistake again.

On the plus side, Hell has no horrors for you now.

Ease Back Out

Cold turkey antidepressants!

I didn't cold turkey all the way but when I cut it down to half my original dose I said f-ck it and went all the way down. I could hear my eyes moving in my head for a week, couldn't stand for more than 2 minutes straight, and I had to change shirts every two hours because I sweat so much. Discontinuation syndrome is no f-cking joke, literally the worst week of my life

longlivedodos934

It's Alive. IT'S ALIVE.

Ride on an elephant. That sh-t is just wrong.

Dunno why I thought I should do it.

ambivalent_username

I totally get this. I rode an elephant just once, at the state fair many moons ago. As soon as i got on i could sense the vast intelligence and vast grief of this enslaved being.

Seems Like It Was Doing Its Job

Jump a fence with spikes.

It was not worth it, pulling my leg of the fence and getting stitches.

ThatWeirdKidInClass

That Is Certainly A Comparison

Meth.

I used it once when I was 19, and coming down from it was the worst thing I've ever felt. And I've been hit by a car, I've almost died twice... none of it compared.

Treat Others The Way You Want

Be mean to people for the fun of it.

I was a very bad kid and now I regret every second of it.

Golden rule is the way to go.

Till Death, Or Irreconcilable Differences, Do Us Part

Get married.

Note: I'm married now, second wife. If something were to happen, there wouldn't be a third.

WippitGuud

Currently separated with my first husband and I can't imagine wanting to get married again.. Must have been someone special for you to do it a second time.

Revolutionary_Net_89

You Can Get It!

Giphy

Stay in a relationship just to be validated that someone wants me.

I want me. I rock on my own, guys :)

00smackshack00

Yes you do :)

I can relate, not sure if that helps. Rode the ship to the bottom because I didn't think anyone else would.

Mike Johnson Gets A Swift Reality Check After Trying To Downplay The Election Results

House Speaker Mike Johnson was called out after displaying his clear denial over Tuesday night's election wins for Democrats, claiming that "no one should read too much into" the results despite major upsets.

Democrats won races around the country, particularly in Virginia, where Abigail Spanberger became the first woman to the win the governorship in the state's history, and in New York City, where Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, successfully took on the establishment to become the first South Asian, first Muslim, and first millennial mayor-elect.

People Who Quit Their Jobs On Day One Reveal What Made Them Say 'Nope, Not Doing This'

Every now and then, simply because we need money, we might take a job that doesn't fulfill us in any way, but at least keeps our bank accounts happy.

Some jobs, however, are so soul-sucking that even with no other prospects immediately on the horizon, we can't, in good conscience, keep working them.

Reese Witherspoon Opens Up About Pressure Of Being First 'SNL' Host After 9/11—And We Can Only Imagine

We all remember where we were on September 11, 2001—one of the most terrifying Tuesdays in American history. Flights were grounded, the stock market froze, and late-night comedy suddenly felt irrelevant.

When Saturday Night Live finally returned on September 29, the nation watched through tears as then-celebrated Mayor Rudy Giuliani and a crowd of first responders stood onstage beside Lorne Michaels and Paul Simon.

Coca-Cola Defends Decision To Use AI To Make New Holiday Commercial After Backlash

In 1995, Coca-Cola aired one of the most enduring Christmas commercials of all time: "The Holidays Are Coming."

The ad featured glowing red trucks driving through snowy towns, with Santa Claus smiling from the side of each trailer. Its soundtrack evoked a strong sense of nostalgia. The advertisement was pure, fizzy magic—a charming piece that made people feel warm and loyal to the brand simultaneously.
