"The produce is filthy, the workers hands are filthy, the shelves are filthy, and think of everywhere it touches BEFORE it arrives to the store."

Olivia Munn Shares Emotional Behind-The-Scenes Video From Right Before Her Double Mastectomy
Aug 21, 2025
Celebrities are increasingly expected to use their big social media platforms for good by advocating for important issues and providing educational resources for those in need.
The Newsroom actress Olivia Munn has made herself no exception, as she's openly shared her experience with being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer, including five major surgeries, a double mastectomy, and a SKIMS photoshoot that highlighted her double mastectomy scars.
To honor World Breast Cancer Research Day, Munn shared a particularly emotional and vulnerable Instagram post that featured her and her husband, John Mulaney, sitting on her hospital bed before she went into surgery for her double mastectomy. The two held hands, spoke quietly to each other, and touched foreheads.
Munn wrote in the caption of the post:
"This was May 2023 right before I was wheeled in for my double mastectomy, the first of five surgeries I would have in a determined battle to beat breast cancer."
"Today is #WorldBreastCancerResearchDay. My breast cancer and my mother’s breast cancer are both very aggressive, fast-moving cancers. And because of funding for breast cancer research, we both had a path to survival."
"Endocrine therapy was discovered to be effective only 20 years ago. It’s a hormone therapy that works to keep hormones from reaching cancer cells, which is a treatment plan I’m currently on. Because of funding for breast cancer research, there are treatment plans that give me and so many others hope."
"Funding is still desperately needed to help find cures, perfect the treatments, and most importantly, determine which patients need them."
You can see the Instagram post here:
Some fans had gone through a similar experience and found her words validating.

Munn continues to advocate for breast cancer awareness, appropriate and regular testing, and increased cancer research.
Since her mother was also diagnosed with breast cancer, Munn has voiced the importance of getting tested early and often, and if what a doctor tells you does not match your experience in your own body, it's best to get a second opinion or to complete a Tyrer-Cuzick Risk Assessment online, which Munn keeps linked in her social media bio for easy access.

Food influencers shocked by car crash mid-bite!
Aug 21, 2025
Filming a crash-out in fine dining was definitely not on the menu when two food influencers sat down for what should’ve been a simple night of sliders and shrimp.
Instead, their dinner review at CuVee’s Culinary Creations in Houston turned into a full-blown disaster flick—complete with flying glass, chaos, and an SUV-shaped plot twist.
The stars of this unplanned sequel to Final Destination? Nina Santiago—better known online as NinaUnrated—and Patrick Blackwood. The pair were mid-toast with salmon sliders, cameras rolling, plates of lobster mac, oysters, and cocktails glistening under the lights… when an SUV suddenly came barreling through the restaurant’s glass wall like it had a standing reservation.
The impact shoved the window frame onto their table, showering the duo in glass. Santiago dropped to the floor, Blackwood got dusted with shards, and the whole thing was caught on video—because of course it was.
You can watch the scary moment below:
Authorities later confirmed the female driver thought she had put her SUV in park. Spoiler: She had not. The car rolled forward, smashing through the window—and somewhere out there, Jake from State Farm felt a disturbance in the force.
Luckily, no one was killed.
Santiago posted a vlog caption that perfectly captured the chaos of the moment:
“We were laughing, having a great time, and right as we tapped our sliders together in a 'boom!' cheers moment, out of nowhere, this SUV came barreling through… We were inches from disaster, but by some miracle, we're both okay.”
Cue ambulance ride as the duo is seen heading to the hospital to be treated for the lacerations and injuries from the glass.
Still processing, Santiago told the camera:
“I was not expecting this bulls--- right here. But, um, I’m glad I’m alive.”
If you’re not familiar with this unlikely influencer duo, here’s a quick rundown: Patrick Blackwood proudly calls himself “Czech Bowl Champ” in his Instagram bio—whether that title means anything or not, he definitely lives up to it. The fitness trainer’s feed is full of vlogs, restaurant reviews, and food pics that show he’s on a personal mission to never meet a plate he won’t film.
Nina Santiago, on the other hand, is a seasoned internet veteran with a YouTube channel that has over 27K subscribers. She has since expanded her brand to include lifestyle content, spicy commentary, and an OnlyFans account for fans seeking a little extra.
Santiago is no stranger to going viral, and the internet apparently views this car crash as engagement gold, with over 392K views on her latest vlog.
Chef Ivory Watkins, the man behind CuVee’s, had just finished explaining the menu to the influencers when he nearly became part of the entrée:
“If I hadn't turned around, all of that would have hit me directly in my face.”
Calling it a freak accident, Watkins canceled a private event, boarded up the mess, and reopened for brunch the next morning. Because in Houston, brunch waits for no one—not even SUVs.
And because influencers are gonna influence, Santiago and Blackwood returned to CuVee’s almost immediately, Santiago saying she wanted to “deal with my PTSD” and also, let’s be honest, finish those sliders.
Santiago explained:
“We came back just to make sure to have peace of mind, and also because the food is actually amazing.”
Online, the footage went viral faster than you can say “crash dining.”
While happy no one was seriously injured, commenters debated whether or not it was staged, and talked about how good the food looked.
Despite the crash clips racking up views online, Chef Watkins admitted it took him two full days before he could bring himself to actually watch the video.
In the meantime, his inbox has been flooded with messages from people asking about setting up fundraisers for the restaurant. Watkins says that won’t be happening—but if you really want to help, skip the GoFundMe and just come hungry.
CuVee’s is open Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Watkins says the best way to show support is simple: order brunch.
The Chef told the press:
“We get a lot of comments on Instagram and on Facebook, and all these comments are saying that these are staged, but it's the actual truth. I'm grateful that Nina and Patrick were not hurt.”
And honestly, so are we—because what’s the internet without influencers living another day to vlog?

Salma Hayek Pays Tribute To Matthew Perry On His Birthday With Sweet 'Fools Rush In' Clip
Aug 21, 2025
The entertainment industry was rocked at the news that Matthew Perry, most popular for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, passed away on October 28, 2023.
Tributes poured in from all over the world, ranging from fans to fellow Friends castmates to countless other celebrities.
One sweet tribute came from Frida's Salma Hayek, who starred opposite Perry in the 1997 romantic comedy Fools Rush In, where the pair faced a pregnancy after a one-night stand and discovered what it really meant to grow together and fall in love.
Two days after Perry's passing, Hayek posted on Instagram that she'd needed time to process the news and that she would always look back on their time together, and how they shared their dreams, with extreme fondness.
Perry would have turned 56 on August 19, and Hayek found herself remembering her late co-star.
In remember him, she shared an iconic photo from Fools Rush In, along with one of the most popular clips from the film.
Holding hands as the pair walked around to the back of the house to a family party, Perry's Alex was shocked by the number of people:
"This is a family dinner?"
Hayek's Isabel, unphased by the group, offered:
"I guess a lot of people couldn't make it."
Then Hayek wrote in the caption:
"Thinking of you today, Matthew."
"Pensando en ti hoy, Matthew."

Fellow Instagrammers were touched by the reminder of Fools Rush In.

In his memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing, Perry wrote about Hayek, their time together making Fools Rush In, and their friendship.
While they didn't always agree about acting approaches, he recalled her with extreme fondness.
"Her long-winded ideas weren't always helpful. There's one scene in which I'm professing my love for her, and she suggested that we don't look at each other, rather, that we should look out at our future together."
"I finally said, 'Listen, Salma, I'm telling you I love you in this scene. You look wherever you want, but I'm going to be looking at you.'"
Whatever they settled on worked, and the scene proved to be a fan favorite.
Somehow, it's been almost two years since the awkward boyfriend in Fools Rush In and wise-cracking best friend in Friends passed away. May his memory live on through his work, his co-stars, and the people who loved him.

Sharon Stone Offers Hilariously Blunt Reaction To Planned Reboot Of 'Basic Instinct'
Aug 21, 2025
Because we have officially run out of ideas as a culture, Hollywood is rebooting the notorious early-90s film Basic Instinct.
And the original film's star, Sharon Stone, who rocketed to stardom because of her infamous performance, had a hilariously blunt take on the reboot's chances.
Basic Instinct basically blew up the country when it premiered in 1992 because of its nudity, sex scenes, and LGBTQ themes that were a level of explicit that was rarely seen outside adult film at the time.
Coming at a time of intense backlash against feminism, the film being centered on a devious, sexually voracious female criminal caused pearl-clutching that translated to huge box office and instantly made Stone a household name.
In short, the film was lightning in a bottle, which is likely why Stone's take on Amazon's attempt to replicate it came down to just three words.
- YouTube youtu.be
Asked about the reboot, Stone deadpanned:
"Good f*cking luck."
Stone's take was also in reference to the previous attempt at rehashing Basic Instinct, 2006's Basic Instinct 2, in which Stone reprised her role as Catherine Tramell.
Unlike the first film, the sequel bombed—hard. Stone told Melvin:
“If it goes the way the one that I was in went, I would just say I do not know why you’d do it!"
@todayshow Sharon Stone admits that she "owned" the 90s as an actress, but reconsidered her life after a stroke that nearly ended her life. Stone decided then to focus on being a mother. Now that her children are out of the nest, she's back to acting. Go to the link to see more from Stone's conversation with Craig Melvin, including her latest project, "Nobody 2," her upcoming role in "Euphoria," and what she thinks of a "Basic Instinct" reboot. #TODAYShow
The forthcoming reboot is at least written by the original screenwriter, but fans on Reddit are just as skeptical as Stone is.
"Hollywood will literally do anything except make original content. And it should be of no shock to Hollywood why their revenue numbers consistently decline year after year." —u/copperblood
"I can only imagine what they discussed in that boardroom meeting. Who the hell thought this was a good idea and it would be successful? No one wants this and no one asked for it. Morons, just morons running these decisions." —u/m0rbius
"They’ll probably cast Sydney Sweeney and Timothy Chalomet" —u/schprunt
But while fans may not be enthused about the reboot, they are still very much here for Sharon Stone herself.
Those who remember Stone fondly will be happy to hear that she also spoke to Melvin about her long hiatus from acting coming to an end.
Stone, now 67, left the business for the most part years ago to care for herself after suffering a near-deadly stroke, and to raise her three children, Roan, Laird and Quinn.
But she is now set to join the season three cast of the HBO drama Euphoria, returning next year.
