Tributes Pour In For Rapper Nipsey Hussle After He's Shot And Killed Outside His Clothing Company In L.A.

On Sunday, March 31, Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside his clothing store in Los Angeles.

The musician was 33-years-old when his life was taken from him, causing a surge of surprise and grief among his fans and colleagues.

Hussle was known not only as a great artist, but as a decent, inspiring man.

Two other men were shot during the incident, which occurred at roughly 3:25 PM.

Hussle was shot multiple times by the unknown attack, who is still at large.

Hours before the shooting, Hussle tweeted:

"Having strong enemies is a blessing."

Los Angeles Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff and Police Chief Michael Moore commented Sunday night they had an upcoming meeting scheduled with Hussle to "talk about ways he could help stop gang violence and help us help kids."

It is unclear if that upcoming meeting was a motive for the murder.

Friends and fans expressed their condolences on Twitter.

Hussle was incredibly invested in the community, helping to develop Destination Crenshaw.

It was described by NBC as "an open-air museum devoted to honoring African-American artistic achievement." He also helped create Vector 90, "a co-working space in South Central Los Angeles, where young people can take classes in science, technology and mathematics."

Hussle will be missed not only for his songs, but for his work as a man.

Rest In Peace Nipsey Hussle.
