Nikki Haley Ripped for Hypocrisy After Calling on Biden and Harris to Step Down 'for the Good of Our Country'

Nikki Haley Ripped for Hypocrisy After Calling on Biden and Harris to Step Down 'for the Good of Our Country'

Throughout the 2016 campaign, then-governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, repeatedly decried Donald Trump in his bid to become the 45th President of the United States. She slammed him at rallies for his refusal to disavow the Ku Klux Klan. Haley also said that Trump is “everything a governor doesn’t want in a President.”

The next year, Haley was serving in Trump's administration as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, a position she would hold until 2019. Even after her departure from Trump's administration, she's continued to heap praise upon the former President with only the occasional criticism reserved for deadly failed insurrections.

The potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate has already vowed not to run if Trump does end up throwing his hat back in the ring, saying instead she would support him for a second term.

With more flip-flops than a poolside pot luck, it's easy to see why Haley's critics haven't placed much stock in her integrity or consistency, even among Republicans.

She demonstrated that yet again with recent comments about President Joe Biden's response to the increased aggression of Russian troops at the Ukrainian border. Concerns are growing that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is planning another invasion of the fledgling democracy, hoping to leverage Europe's reliance on Russian gas to escape serious consequences.

In a press conference last week, Biden suggested that a "minor incursion" from Russia into Ukraine would provoke a less severe response—comments that generated immediate controversy. The President soon clarified that he's been "absolutely clear" with Putin that "if any assembled Russian units move across Ukrainian border, that is an invasion."

Speaking with right-wing media personality Guy Benson, Haley said Biden's initial comments should disqualify him from the presidency.

Watch below.

Haley said:

"Honestly, for the good of our country, if Biden loved our country, he would step down and take Kamala with him, because the foreign policy situation is beyond dangerous at this point."

Keep in mind that Nikki Haley defended Trump in 2019, when he withheld congressionally-approved military aid to Ukraine in order to pressure its President to launch an investigation into the Bidens in order to boost his chances of reelection. The conservative party Haley defends is increasingly siding with Russia in its effort to subvert the region's democracy and regain control of it.

In other words, people think Haley is full of it.

Others pointed out that, were Biden and Vice President Harris to step down, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi—a favorite enemy of conservatives—would become commander-in-chief.

Haley's 2024 efforts are seeing widespread skepticism.

Cook took over from Steve Jobs and reshaped Apple by leaning on his operations expertise. He streamlined and expanded global supply chains, introduced Apple-designed chips, and pushed the company beyond hardware into services, launching subscription offerings like Apple News, Apple TV+, and Apple Pay, which have since become major revenue drivers.
