Marvel Studios just unveiled their spate of new 'Black Panther' character movie posters, courtesy of Twitter, to tantalize comic book fans for the film's official release.
Hot off Thor: Ragnarok's smashing success, The Ryan Coogler-helmed Black Panther is about to kick off the 2018 movie season with a promising start. If the new posters are any indication, the superhero film is going to be a visual marvel.
Each featured character poster has a three-word tagline, denoting their motivations. Meet the cast of characters for the hotly anticipated event coming to a theater near you.

The posters not only feature the main players of Wakanda, but they showcase the spectacular work of costume designer Ruth E. Carter. The celebrated designer's career spans 30 years, and her work covering various genres and different periods garnered her two Oscar nominations for best costume design: One for Spike Lee's Malcolm X (1992), and another for Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997).

Black Panther marks the 18th film in the Marvel cinematic universe. The movie picks up after the events of Captain America: Civil War, when King T'Challa returns home to Wakanda, only to find his kingdom in jeopardy of being ruled by two of his adversaries. It is up to him, teaming up with special agent Everett K. Ross and the Dora Milaje, to reclaim and save his home from a world war.
