Guy Gives Beautiful Mic Drop Response After He's Asked If He Knows His Girlfriend Is Trans

In a recent viral video, TikTok star Jayde McFarlane took a break from her typical lip sync performances and let her boyfriend do the talking.

And the monologue he delivered was glorious.

The video was apparently prompted by recent comments from TikTok trolls who suggested that McFarlane, who is trans, hadn't informed her boyfriend about that fact.

So McFarlane, from the intimacy of the couple's bedroom, filmed herself asking her boyfriend if he, in fact, knew she was trans.

In his response, her boyfriend didn't miss a beat:

"Yeah I know that you're a perfectly beautiful woman and you always have been."

McFarlane's boyfriend then wondered aloud.

"Is this one of those comments from TikTok again?"

When McFarlane confirmed, her boyfriend lifted himself up, looked square in the camera, and set the record straight.

"First off, I want to say that trans women are real women, they're completely valid in their femininity."
"And the fact that people think that just because someone's trans and that if I found out or if anyone found out that their significant other is trans, that would take away or diminish the love that they have for them is just completely disgusting to me..."
"...and the fact that people take out their own insecurities and things that they're worried about from their past and try to apply it to this situation is just disgusting.

He closed with a well-deserved gut punch.

"Just because you're unhappy in life, doesn't mean we need to be too."

People on TikTok evidently approved of the message. The video, viewed by over eight million people, racked up over two million likes.

And so many supportive comments.

His monologue joins a growing list of viral internet moments that have included men—from governors to fathers—defending the rights of trans people,

The fight for trans rights of course, continues, but such moments are undoubtedly encouraging.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
