Shariah Taylor told WTVY News4 in Alabama how the rapper's dance moves helped her and her child avoid getting struck during a drive-by shooting outside her apartment.

A woman in Alabama went viral after claiming Lil Kim dance moves saved her life during a shooting at her apartment complex.

Shariah Taylor told WTVY News4 that she was outside her apartment when the incident transpired.

After observing a confrontation and then hearing gunshots, Taylor told a reporter how she managed to get her child and herself to safety.

“So I’m dodging, I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking."

She continued, showing off her life-saving moves and crediting Lil Kim's "Quiet Storm" for helping her dodge bullets.

"I’m dodging, doing my 'Lil Kim' ..."
"I’m trying to get my baby in the car, then I threw my baby in the backseat and we just sped off.”

You can watch below.

Everyone was glad Taylor and her baby were safe.

And they were entertained by the Lil Kim reference and impression.

The news reported that there was a shooting in the same complex earlier last month, so Taylor gave her best advice.

"Sometimes I don't feel safe... and sometimes [I'm] scared..."
"But that's why I say you got to mind your own business and stay to yourself."
"Mind your business if you stay in West Village and stay in your house."

Guy Admits His Ignorance After Girlfriend Educates Him On What Really Happens During Menstruation—And He's Horrified

Women's health should be much more common knowledge than it is, but many subjects related to women—especially menstruation, pregnancy, and childbirth—are still considered pretty "taboo" subjects in public spaces, in shared educational spaces, and, of course, among men.

That's why there are so many men like TikToker @connortalkslol who only start finding out what menstruation really is and what the cycle entails when they go looking for the information themselves.
