Laura Ingraham Mocked For Claiming Republicans Are On 'A Winning Roll' After House Debacles

On her Fox show Wednesday night, Laura Ingraham tried to claim that Republicans are on 'a winning roll' despite embarrassing House vote failures, and it did not go well.

Social media users got whiplash from doing a double-take after Fox News host Laura Ingraham boldly proclaimed that Republicans were on a "winning roll" despite their failures on Capitol Hill.

The Ingraham Angle host asked viewers to turn a blind eye to the shortcomings of the GOP after they failed to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

On Tuesday, three Republicans joined Democrats in voting against impeaching Mayorkas for his alleged failure to enforce U.S. immigration policies at the southern U.S. border.

Ingraham instructed viewers:

“Don’t let the Democrat media machine, not for one second, have you believe that just because the House came up short in impeaching Mayorkas, that we’re not on a winning roll here."
"Because we are."

“The country is waking up,” said Ingraham.

She then referred to the federally charged former Republican President Donald Trump, whom she believes can do no wrong.

“They’re demanding real change and they’re looking away from Washington and toward the guy who had us going in the right direction just four years ago."

The internet begged to differ and showed up with receipts.

At least they gave her points for trying.

She was not getting off the hook anytime soon.

House Republicans' latest stunt in falsely accusing Mayorkas of "high crimes and misdemeanors" was the result of mounting pressure from the party's base to hold Democratic President Joe Biden's administration accountable for his U.S. border policies.

Following the loss, the Department of Homeland Security issued a statement suggesting the GOP should "abandon these political games."

“This baseless impeachment should never have moved forward; it faces bipartisan opposition and legal experts resoundingly say it is unconstitutional."
"If House Republicans are serious about border security, they should abandon these political games, and instead support the bipartisan national security agreement in the Senate to get DHS the enforcement resources we need,

So much winning.

Whatever you say, Laura.

People Explain What Happened To Significant Others Who Cheated And Then Dated Their Affair Partner
