Of all the ploys celebrities have used to seem down to earth, this one is probably the best... even if a little on the nose.

These puns will make sense in a moment, promise.

You may have seen back in October that Grammy-winning pop-star Justin Bieber was learning to ride a unicycle—because of course he was—and took quite the face-planting tumble. The photos are really a sight to behold—just limbs flailing everywhere.

Stars: They're just like us!

Well, Biebs himself apparently just discovered said photos. His response has been nothing short of pure Instagram gold.

To start, Biebs posted the most awkward of the shots to his Insta the other day...

Quoth Bieber:

"WTF HAHA"

Which really does say it all.

Even Bieber's wife cherishes the moment above all others.

So, Bieber did the only sane thing in these times.

He became totally obsessed with this bizarre photo and meme'd himself. Over and over and over again.

Falling off a unicycle?

Nah, just Justin Bieber in one of those claw machines.

Tumbling toward a career-ending neck break?

Nah, just the Biebs hung from a basketball hoop by his tighty-whities.

Look closely: Is Bieber about to knock all his teeth out on the pavement?

OR IS THAT JUST WHAT THE ALIENS WANT YOU TO BELIEB—sorry—BELIEVE?

In all, Justin self-trolled a whopping seven times, each a bit more brilliantly ridiculous than the last like Bieber at the starting line of a race track, falling off a high-dive, delivering an aerial wrestling drop to none other than John Cena, or—best of all—flying into the jaws of a T-Rex.

Or is that a velociraptor?

Classic.

Naturally, the internet's throngs of Beliebers were loving Justin's epic self-troll—including his wife Hailey.

Well done, Biebs.

Bringing new meaning to the phrase "self-own" is exactly the energy we need for 2020.

Trump Gets Brutal Reminder After Shaming Former Counterterrorism Chief For Remarrying Too Quickly After Wife's Death

President Donald Trump was given a blunt reminder of his own past after he shamed Joe Kent, the former National Counterterrorism Center director who recently resigned over the war with Iran, saying Kent had remarried too quickly after the death of his first wife.

Kent, a former Green Beret and political candidate with ties to right-wing extremists, was confirmed last July in a 52–44 vote to lead the National Counterterrorism Center, where he oversaw efforts to analyze and detect terrorist threats.
