The actor congratulated her 'Freaky Friday' costar after she gave birth to her first child, a boy named Luai, with husband Bader Shammas.

Jamie Lee Curtis, the Oscar-winning actress, celebrated the arrival of her "movie daughter" Lindsay Lohan's baby boy in a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday.

The image included an inset photo taken during their time together on the set of the 2003 movie Freaky Friday where they portrayed the roles of mother-daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman, who switch bodies.

The main photo showed Jamie Lee Curtis with a slightly older Lindsay Lohan, both beaming with their arms around each other.

Curtis captioned the photo:

"MAGIC MONDAY!"
"My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother. Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai!"

Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas welcomed their son, Luai, in Dubai.

A representative confirmed the news and expressed the family's happiness and love for the newborn.

Despite two decades passing since their on-screen mother-daughter connection, Lohan and Curtis have remained close friends. Lohan even sought mentorship from Curtis about motherhood before the birth of her first child.

The internet is overjoyed for both members of this iconic duo.
