Black opened up to Amy Poehler on her Good Hang podcast about getting to surprise Love on the Spectrum star Tanner Smith on The Kelly Clarkson Show—and now we're all crying.

Jack Black couldn’t hold back his emotions when reflecting on his recent meeting with Love on the Spectrum star Tanner Smith.

The actor surprised his big fan on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this month, and opened up about the moment on the April 22 episode of Amy Poehler’s podcast, Good Hang.

Black, 55, shared that his sons love watching Love on the Spectrum, and he began watching it with them as a way to connect, which was how he became a fan of Smith. After previously sending Smith a supportive video, Black said he was excited when he got the call about organizing an in-person surprise during his visit to promote Minecraft.

“It was long overdue that we meet in person,” Black said, admitting he wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would be. “I almost started crying,” he told Poehler, who admitted she did cry while watching the episode.

“We were hugging, there was so much love.”

He also hinted their connection is “to be continued,” sharing that he and Smith have plans to do some workouts together.

During the heartfelt episode, Clarkson and Black initially tricked Smith into thinking he was getting another video message—only for Black to run out and greet him with a big hug.

“Jack, I’m so glad I finally get to meet you! I’m your biggest fan,” Smith told him, asking if they could exchange phone numbers to stay in touch.

“I love you on the show, and I can’t wait for the next season,” Black responded. “To meet you in person is amazing for me, too!”

Folks were quick to assure Black and Poehler that they weren’t the only ones crying.

Trump Gets U.S. Military Troops To Boo Democrats And 'Fake News' During Alarming Speech

Members of the military stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, erupted in boos when President Donald Trump goaded them during a speech in which he attacked former President Joe Biden, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and the "fake news" covering the ongoing protests in L.A. in response to the Trump administration's immigration raids.

The military has a longstanding tradition of remaining nonpartisan so it was striking that those in attendance, many of whom wore military fatigues, booed in the first place.
