Oklahoma Representative Markwayne Mullin recently introduced a resolution that would "expunge" former President Trump's second impeachment—the one that came about after the January 6th insurrection attempt.

House Republican leadership seems to support it.

House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik and other House Republicans have voiced support for this resolution, likely hoping to stoke the support of pro-Trump voters in anticipation of this year's midterm elections.

Stefanik tweeted her support of the resolution, making sure to get plenty of far-right buzzwords into her tweet, posting:

"Pelosi's impeachment of President Trump was a political WITCH HUNT."
"I stood up against this unconstitutional impeachment and I'm proud to support a resolution with [Markwayne Mullin] to expunge this smear against President Trump & millions of patriots."

She also told Fox News Digital:

"The American people know Democrats weaponized the power of impeachment against President Donald Trump to advance their own extreme political agenda."
"From the beginning of this sham process, I stood up against Nancy Pelosi’s blatant attempt to shred the Constitution as House Democrats ignored precedent and failed to follow the legislative process."
"But President Donald Trump was rightfully acquitted, and it is past time to expunge Democrats’ sham smear against not only President Trump’s name, but against millions of patriots across the country."

Mullin accused Democrats of using the impeachment to "weaponize" the powers of the House in a statement.

"Democrats used their second impeachment resolution to once again weaponize one of the most grave and consequential powers of the House."
"This was never about the Constitution; it was rooted in personal politics."

Twitter users were dubious of Mullins' reasons to obfuscate Trump's misdeeds and Stefanik's drive to support him.

Even Trump himself congratulated Mullin and Stefanik for their efforts to clear his name.

This isn't the first time Mullin has tried to expunge a Trump impeachment.

He introduced a similar resolution after Trump's first impeachment. He claimed Democrats had "abused our Constitution for their political gain" in impeaching Trump the first time too.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
