Young Girl's Shady Question About Trump Goes Viral—And Leavitt's Answer Is So Telling

During the White House's annual "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day," a little girl asked who President Trump's "favorite President" is—"besides himself"—and it tripped up Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

On Tuesday, the White House celebrated their annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Officially celebrated nationally on the third Thursday of April, participants are especially encouraged to bring children to workplaces where their gender, race, or ethnicity has historically been underrepresented.

The event has parents, guardians, and other family members introduce the children in their lives to all that their job entails to both spark the child's interest in the profession and give them a better understanding of what their family member does every day at work.

Many workplaces stage mock events that allow the kids to participate fully.

In the case of the White House, they staged a press briefing with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt where the children acted as the press and asked her questions.

Leavitt took questions from children of both White House staff and the press corps in the actual briefing room. Most questions centered on MAGA Republican President Donald Trump, with questions about his favorite food from McDonald's, favorite ice cream, and his candy eating habits.

However one young lady with a name tag reading "Nora" managed to temporarily stump the Trump administration's mouthpiece.

You can watch the moment here:

When Leavitt called on Nora, the girl asked:

"Which is Donald Trump’s favorite President—besides himself?"

Her astute qualifier elicited laughter.

Leavitt responded:

"That’s a good question, because it would be—uh, probably—himself."

Indeed, President Trump often writes posts about himself on Truth Social proclaiming his status as "your favorite President."

After a moment, Leavitt decided to go with what some would assume was a safe guess—the first President of the United States, George Washington.

She added:

"I think that perhaps he would say George Washington. I know he speaks very highly of George Washington, who was, of course, the first president of our great country. And he has his big, beautiful portrait hanging in the Oval Office above the fireplace. Good question."

However, if Leavitt were well-versed in her Trump trivia, she'd know Trump declared on more than one occasion he could easily beat a joint George Washington and Abraham Lincoln ticket in an election because of his popularity—despite all evidence to the contrary.

She would also know Trump reserved his praise of presidential greatness for genocidal racist Andrew Jackson, whose portrait Trump had returned to prominent placement within the White House after it was absent for years because of his atrocities.

Whereas the George Washington portrait Leavitt referenced has always been prominently displayed, often in the exact spot where it now sits.

People found both the child's question and Leavitt's response very telling.

At another point in the briefing, a child appearing to be only four or five years-old asked:

"How many people has he fired?"

Leavitt again briefly stumbled over an appropriate response, laughing, then saying:

"Thus far, actually, we've not had anyone fired, with the exception of one individual who did leave their job, but we have a great team here. So far, so good."

Apparently Leavitt is unfamiliar with the work of her administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The Trump-created, Elon Musk-led pseudo government agency has fired tens of thousands of people.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

MAGA Politicians Called Out After Falling For AI-Generated Photo Of U.S. Airmen Rescue In Iran

At least two Republican politicians are facing criticism after they fell for a clearly A.I.-generated photo of the rescue of two U.S. airmen whose fighter jet went down in Iran over the weekend.

U.S. special forces rescued the second crew member of an F-15 fighter jet shot down over Iran, according to three U.S. officials cited by Axios. The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.
