Drew Carey had a libidinal meltdown while describing his first time seeing the rock band Phish perform live at The Sphere music venue in Las Vegas.
The Price is Right host's wacky assessment pretty much equated his concertgoing experience to reaching an orgasm, prompting dumbfounded viewers to wonder if the stand-up comedian gets out—or off—much.
On Tuesday’s episode of the late-night comedy panel game showAfter Midnight, host Taylor Tomlinson asked Carey:
“Drew, if you weren’t being filmed right now, what would you say?”
The contestants on the show typically include a panel of stand-up comics who are asked silly questions.
“So, I saw Phish at the Sphere this weekend," said the 65-year-old.
Fans of the group in the studio audience cheered but weren't ready for his bizarre takeaway.
He continued:
"Never saw Phish, didn’t know a Phish tune, and they …blew my mind off so hard.”
“I had a bunch of girls with me, and I thought to myself is this what it’s like to—”
Carey was censored for his NSFW comment, and it wouldn't be the last time.
Successive bleeps intermittently followed as he continued:
“It was like being edged for four days straight."
"And then right before the face-melting climax at the end of the fourth day, an angel comes down from heaven, Gabriel, and he shoots [expletive] heroin in your arm, and he says, ‘Good luck now [expletive]!’"
"And he leaves, and you have an orgasm for 15 minutes while your eyeballs fall out of your head!”

Carey's riotous concert review floored his fellow contestants, Thomas Lennon and “Weird Al” Yankovic, but none was more gobsmacked than Tomlinson, whose jaw remained on the floor.

Phish's performance looked like a mind-blowing event, especially inside the 18,600-seat enclosed auditorium.
The domed arena that opened with U2's residency on September 29, 2023, has a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen, a sound system equipped with beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies, and 4D physical effects.

Phish was formed at the University of Vermont in 1983 as part of the improvisational rock group movement inspired by the Grateful Dead's live performance format.
The band consists of guitarists Trey Anastasio and Jeff Holdsworth, bassist Mike Gordon, and drummer Jon Fishman. Keyboardist Page McConnell joined the group in 1985.
Their music is a blend of a variety of music genres, including funk, reggae, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, folk, country, jazz, blues, bluegrass, electronic music, and pop.
They were the second band to perform at The Sphere with four shows following U2's 40-show residency called U2:UV Achtung BabyLive at Sphere.
Phish's sixteenth studio album will be released on July 12, 2024.
