It's official. Disney is the boss of entertainment.

Never underestimate the power of pixie dust, because its charm will sweep you off your feet and subsequently devour you whole.

As of Wednesday at 12:02 ET, Disney won the bidding war over Comcast and acquired 21st Century Fox after antitrust regulators from around the world finally gave their approval.

Expect worlds colliding with pop-cultural mashups for the ages. Deadpool walking hand in hand with Mickey as Ursula battles it out with Aliens won't be weird at all.

Deadpool, along with X-Men and the Fantastic Four, will finally be able to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In celebration, Ryan Reynolds, a.k.a. Deadpool, commented on the merger with his cheeky nod to the mouse.

The prophecy is complete.

Let the mischief began.

The Simpsons's showrunner Al Jean also responded to the news in a manner in which you'd expect.

TV Insider confirmed that 21st Century Fox will still produce the animated sitcom but will continue airing it on the Fox Broadcasting Company.

When you're family, you roll with the punches.

The acquisition gives Disney full control over Fox's entire movie studio division and gives Disney a 60% stake in Hulu.

Fox Corps, however, will retain its independence as will Fox News and Fox Sports.

A vast number of Fox TV shows will now become a part of the Disney family, including, American Horror Story and Empire; and even shows from yesteryear like X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Disney CEO Bob Igor expressed his enthusiasm for the deal of a century in a press release.

"This is an extraordinary and historic moment for us — one that will create significant long-term value for our company and our shareholders."
"Combining Disney's and 21st Century Fox's wealth of creative content and proven talent creates the preeminent global entertainment company, well positioned to lead in an incredibly dynamic and transformative era."

When you're Disney, anything your heart desires will come to you.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
