While Father’s Day is special for many in the country, it’s probably a little more special when you’re America’s daddy Christopher Meloni.

The actor, best known for playing Detective Stabler on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, has something of a reputation in the age of social media. A legion of fans has come to appreciate his, shall we say ‘assets’, with no one a bigger fan than the queer community.

So much so, that merely being related to Meloni is enough to win a few favors.

In the above image, Meloni shares a conversation with his child who apparently got a few free drinks off the back of the family name.

According to the screenshot, Meloni’s kid was at a drag bar. When the bartender saw the last name on the driver license, they asked if they were related to the Law & Order star.

When told “yes” the bartender put the drinks on the house.

It’s pretty impressive to see the fandom around Meloni.

Meloni is good natured about the reputation he’s developed. This includes times when he has every reason to get upset.

When it was reported earlier this year that Meloni has developed a bit of an “ego” after upping his workout routine, the actor responded.

He shared an Instagram post poking fun at the reporting, where he claimed it was a “super ego” in his caption.

Hopefully he enjoys the jokes about his kid’s free drinks just as much.

Meloni returned to the Law & Order universe, reprising his role as Detective Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime. The third season begins this fall on NBC.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
