How bad do you have to be to draw the ire of a children's songs writer?

If you're the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, the answer is "Exactly as bad as you are."

Raffi Cavoukian, a musician best known for children's songs like "Baby Beluga", "Bananaphone" and "Down by the Bay" has been an outspoken critic of the current administration.

And he has no plans to stop.

Cavoukian said in an interview with Fatherly:

"You know, I keep my voice in the public sphere to social media these days. I don't politicize my concerts and I don't even think of myself as an activist,"

"But, if you care about democracy, if you care about a free society, if you care about fair elections, how can you not get involved these days?"

The singer is very active on social media, especially Twitter, where he takes the time to criticize the current administration. Sometimes he's more subtle, but often he will say exactly what he feels.

And it's pretty great seeing someone take a stand.

Raffi, as the mononymous singer is known, was born in Egypt to Armenian parents. He emigrated to Canada in 1958. Throughout the 1970s, '80s, and '90s he became a very popular writer and performer of children's songs.

The entertainer has started his own funds and charities to promote the welfare of children. Raffi calls for a child's right to grow up without being commercially exploited and has turned down projects and contracts because of the exploitative nature behind the funding.

Think we could convince him to sing his tweets?

Raffi is not likely to stop any time soon. He feels it is in the country's best interest to resist this administration as much as possible. As he was quoted saying:

"You have to fight fascism with everything you've got."

In the meantime, you can also get into the holiday spirit with Raffi's Christmas album. Buy it here.

Kellyanne Conway Just Tried To Claim Trump's Divisive Speech On The National Mall Was Actually 'Inclusive'—And The Delusion Is Real

President Donald Trump's former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway was criticized after she praised his speech on the National Mall on Wednesday night by claiming on Fox News that Trump extended an "olive branch" to people who didn't vote for him.

Trump's remarks themselves resembled a campaign rally more than the unifying and "inclusive" celebration organizers had promised. Within minutes of taking the stage, he criticized former President Joe Biden without mentioning him by name, declaring that the United States had recently been "a dead country" before claiming it had become "the hottest country anywhere in the world."
