'Call Me Kat' Star Cheyenne Jackson Pays Sweet Tribute To Leslie Jordan With Halloween Costume

Jackson and Jordan had previously paired up as the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda for an episode of the Fox sitcom.

Fans of actors Cheyenne Jackson and Leslie Jordan were left teary-eyed by Jackson's Halloween costume this weekend, which paid tribute to Jordan, who passed away in a car crash last week.

Accompanied by his kids, twins Ethan and Willow, Jackson went with a Star Wars themed costume. Flanked by Ethan dressed as Luke Skywalker and Willow dressed as Princess Leia, Jackson donned a Mandelorian costume, complete with a stuffed Yoga figurine to complete the look.

But as Jackson revealed in an Instagram post, the costume wasn't just a tribute to Star Wars and The Mandelorian--it was also a tribute to Jordan, who completed Jackson's costume in a recent episode of the Fox sitcom on which they starred together by dressing up as Yoda, a send-up of his diminutive stature.

See Jackson's Instagram post below.

In his caption, Jackson mentioned his previous costumes with the dearly departed Jordan. He wrote:

"Last time I wore this my friend @thelesliejordan was strapped to my back."
"I’m the Mandalorian once more tonight in tribute. 'Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.' —Yoda"

Jackson and Jordan starred together on Fox's Call Me Kat at the time of Jordan's death. Currently in its third season, the show also stars Mayim Biyalik and Swoosie Kurtz and centers on Biyalik's character's decision to leave her job as a professor to open a cat cafe.

Jackson plays Max, the bartender of the bar next door to the cat cafe, while Jordan starred as Phil, the cafe's head baker.

In an episode that aired last week just days after Jordan's death, Max and Phil teamed up to dress as The Mandelorian and Baby Yoda for the bar's Halloween party, with Jordan's character strapped to Jackson's back to complete the look.

Jackson shared a photo of the gag to his Instagram account in a tribute to Jordan after his untimely death last week.

Fans of Jackson and Jordan were deeply moved by his Halloween tribute to the late actor.

Lil Nas X Speaks Out

Lil Nas X’s summer swerved from chart-topping to chaotic after his arrest in Los Angeles last week. The Grammy-winning “Industry Baby” rapper, born Montero Lamar Hill, found himself in the middle of a late-night spiral that ended with felony charges, a hospital stay, and a video to fans that was equal parts rattled and reassuring.

According to reports from last week, Hill was spotted drifting in and out of a Hollywood hotel before wandering the streets in nothing but underwear and cowboy boots.

Charlie Kirk Slammed After Telling Taylor Swift To 'Submit To Your Husband' Following News Of Her Engagement

Far-right influencer Charlie Kirk put his misogyny and sexism on full display when he responded to the news that Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and musician Taylor Swift are engaged to be married, saying that Swift should now take the opportunity to become "more conservative" and reminding her to "submit to your husband."

Kirk was of course just one of the millions around the country who responded to the news that America's most famous couple will soon tie the knot—but few made comments as openly backward as this.
