Many celebrities and fans alike have taken to Twitter to pay their respects to the late Tim Conway.

The comedy legend, known for his work on The Carol Burnett Show, The Apple Dumpling Gang, Married... With Children, and countless others, died on May 13th at the age of 85.

Conway had been suffering complications from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), which ultimately lead to his passing.

Twitter is abuzz with many sending their well wishes, and reminiscing about watching Conway on television.

Several have also tweeted about their experiences meeting Conway during his lifetime.

Conway's legacy began as a guest star on The Carol Burnett Show, before joining as a regular in 1975. There, he was responsible for classic characters such as The Oldest Man and The Dentist, and was known for frequently making his costars break character due to his hilarious ad-libbing.

He, at one point, had his own sitcom, known as The Tim Conway Show. The show ran for one season, between 1980 and 1981.

Since then, he has appeared on many television shows, including McHale's Navy as Ensign Charles Parker and Married... With Children as Ephraim Wanker.

He even had a recurring role on Spongebob Squarepants as Barnacle Boy (a parody of Robin, sidekick to the DC superhero Batman).

Carol Burnett, a close friend and costar of Conway, had kind things to say about him.

"He was one in a million, not only as a brilliant comedian but as a loving human being. I cherish the times we had together both on the screen and off. He'll be in my heart forever."

Tim Conway's unique stage presence and impeccable sense of humor will be dearly missed.

It is obvious he has touched many lives, and his brand of comedy will always live on.
