Three days after author Lori Alexander tweeted her unsolicited opinion on female police officers and military officers, the Canadian military pushed back with a video reply.

Alexander's ignorant tweet gained a serious amount of backlash.

People could not believe the blatant sexism and objectification of women coming from a woman.

The Canadian Forces In The USA tweeted a direct response to the criticism in the form of a tribute to women in the military.

"They've always dressed for the job. They've always dressed like us. They are Us."

People were overjoyed to see, in one user's words, that "Karen got owned."

Meanwhile, Alexander, who asks questions on her inflammatory blog like "Should mothers have careers?" has been receiving resistance to her ignorance from all corners of the internet.

Alexander's philosophy of telling women how to behave is well outlined on her blog.

"My ministry is based upon Titus 2:3-5 in which God commands that older women teach younger women to be sober, love and obey their husbands, love their children, be chaste, discreet, good, and keepers at home."

But despite her claims that the military and uniformed careers are "men's jobs," things have changed since the 1800s that Alexander seems stuck in.

In the United States:

"According to the Defense Department, women now make up 20 percent of the Air Force, 19 percent of the Navy, 15 percent of the Army and almost 9 percent of the Marine Corps. Women now make up approximately 10 percent of the current veteran population, the fastest-growing demographic."

So, there.
