Caitlyn Jenner Instantly Shredded After Giving Bizarrely Contradictory Take On Texas Abortion Ban

The former Olympian and failing Republican candidate for governor of California, Caitlyn Jenner, can't seem to get anything right.

Despite polling at just 1% among those who would vote to recall the current governor, Jenner was invited to speak on CNN about different issues. This included her issues with immigrants and Texas' new abortion law.

Strangely, she tried to have it both ways, claiming to both support a woman's right to choose, but also supporting Texas' right to impose a law virtually banning all abortions.

It was the most blatant attempt at pandering and failed spectacularly.

Texas law SB8 limits abortions to six weeks and allows civil suits against those that provide reproductive healthcare related to abortion. This includes doctors, their staff, counselors, financiers and even taxi drivers who knowingly provide transport to an abortion clinic.

The draconian law has been the subject of debate. However, it's rare the debate takes place in the middle of a political hopeful's own sentence.

Caitlyn Jenner was asked about her thoughts on the Texas law and she said:

"I am for a woman's right to choose. I am also for a state having the ability to make their own laws. So I support Texas in that decision, that's their decision."
"But as far as being a woman's right to choose, I don't see any changes in our laws in California in the future."

Many recognized Jenner's thoughts on the law as double-speak nonsense.

Jenner hasn't had the best track record when it comes to handling her campaign.

It's well known her campaign is outspending its ability to bring in money, leaving the endeavor over $100,000 in debt. She also regularly makes very transphobic comments and endorses anti-trans positions despite being a trans woman herself.

She also refuses to say Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election.

This is all in an attempt to walk a very tight line between standard conservatism and the Trumpian politics that seemed to do so well five years ago.

However, it's not working out very well for Jenner.

As Jenner's campaign continues to crash and burn, the rest of the country is looking to fight the Texas law. President Joe Biden released a statement claiming the law "blatantly violates the constitutional right" to reproductive freedom and limits proper access to healthcare.
