Audio Of Trump Repeatedly Calling Taylor Swift 'Beautiful' During Interview Is Creeping Everyone Out

Audio from journalist Ramin Setoodeh's interview with Donald Trump during which the former president called Swift 'beautiful' five times is not sitting well with fans.

The internet was genuinely creeped out after audio of former Republican President and newly convicted felon Donald Trump using the word "beautiful" five times to describe superstar Taylor Swift was released.

Trump, who is notorious for having had extra-marital affairs, bragging about groping women, and making numerous sexist and lewd comments objectifying women, fawned over Swift in an audio recording from journalist and author Ramin Setoodeh.

Setoodeh, co-editor-in-chief of Variety, had intermittently interviewed Trump after the 2020 election for his tell-all book Apprentice in Wonderland, which was released Tuesday.

When Setoodeh asked Trump about his opinion of Swift in one of the interviews, the presumptive GOP nominee who is going head to head with Democratic President Joe Biden in tonight's heavily anticipated debate, said of the singer:

"I think she's beautiful."

Trump did not mention the "Cruel Summer" singer's music, accomplishments, philanthropy, or positive influence as a role model.

Instead, he continued fawning over her looks.

"Very beautiful," he said, "I find her very beautiful."

He briefly veered from his superficial musing and presumed the singer might be liberal and that "she probably doesn't like Trump." He also noted being aware that Swift was "very talented."

He resumed praising the music icon with the same descriptor, saying:

"But I think she's very, I think she's very beautiful actually–unusually beautiful."

While the text of the interview had been previously reported, CNN shared Setoodeh's audio recording from the interview, which you can hear in the clip below.

Users on X (formerly Twitter) winced upon listening to Trump's fixation over Swift's looks.

The ex-President and Taylor Swift were recently the subjects of Liz Cheney's viral trolling of Trump on X.

On Sunday, the former GOP Representative shared a concert clip of Swift, who is currently spreading immense joy and musical pageantry with her historically successful Eras Tour, and thanked her for "giving us a million reasons to smile".

Cheney then took a swipe at Trump and remarked, "This is what a sold out crowd actually looks like," hinting at his propensity for exaggerating his popularity with false crowd estimations at many of his MAGA rallies.

The "Tortured Poets Department" singer endorsed President Biden in October of 2020 and has yet to endorse in this year's election.

But we are ready for it.
