Woman Sparks Debate After Waking Up 15 Minutes Before Flight And Somehow Still Making It

TikToker @abbyyyyflo shared a viral video of herself calling her friend who woke up just 15 minutes before their flight's slated departure time—and it sparked a debate about rewarding bad behavior.

We've all had one of those days when we overslept, even when there was something important happening that day.

But there's a big difference between experiencing this one time and having it happen so frequently it's considered "on brand" for you.

While departing for a girls' trip, a TikToker named Abby (@abbyyyyflo) recorded a video when she, alongside one of her friends, called their other friend named Beth to figure out where she was. It was 7:31 in the morning, and the gate for their flight was closing at 7:45.

Getting the call, Beth revealed that she had just woken up. In an absolute whirlwind of a video, Abby continued to record clips of the next 15 minutes, including calling Beth, looking around the waiting area to see if they could see Beth coming, and Abby and her other friend appearing increasingly stressed.

But at the last possible moment, the pair could see Beth's head above the paneling of the airport security area, where she asked other travelers if she could cut in line to make her flight. Beth managed to make quick work of the TSA area before running through the waiting area, out of the building, and up the boarding ramp to the plane.

Due to a very slight delay, Beth reached the flight by 7:47, her two friends laughing in surprise at her achievement.

Unfortunately this was so on brand of Beth …. Gates closed at 7:45fyi #fyp

Some fellow TikTokers tried to give Beth the benefit of the doubt. After all, we've all slept in at some point, and if there was something important going on that day, like a flight taking off, we all would have experienced that same rush of still trying to make it before the plane took off.

But some pointed out that while this might be the case for some people, Abby said this was "on brand" for Beth.

Others couldn't help but shake their heads, thinking about the inconvenience Beth caused to the crew and fellow passengers.

It's understandable to have an off morning, but if this is really so on brand for Beth that the people around her just laugh off her behavior, it might be time for her to think about how her behavior could be impacting other people.

At some point, someone wouldn't think it was so funny.

The Clintons Scorch GOP Rep. While Refusing To Testify On Epstein In Mic Drop Letter

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton criticized House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer in a letter explaining why they would not be appearing for their deposition on Tuesday as part of an investigation into the late financier, sex-trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

President Clinton has not been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein, though he maintained a well-documented friendship with him during the 1990s and early 2000s. Republicans have repeatedly focused on that relationship as part of their broader effort to control the narrative and demands surrounding a comprehensive accounting of Epstein’s crimes.
