In what must have been the most awkward date from hell, a Twitter user by the name of Fabuticaba shared that the 28-year-old man she was on the date with thought women's periods lasted a month.

Why he relayed this piece of horribly misguided information with his date is anyone's guess. Fabuticaba shared the news in a tweet that has since gone viral and, judging by the responses of other women, we're beginning to wonder how some of these men manage to leave the house everyday without hurting themselves.

It all started with this tweet.

The responses from women were enough to make your head explode.

Oh come on!

Some responses opened up a whole bunch more questions.

This would be really sweet if it wasn't so sad.

It's all fun and games until you realize this—

We can all agree that when we take on a role in a workplace, we should be expected to perform our duties, show up on time, not abuse the time off policy, and generally make good contributions as a member of that company. Those are all reasonable things to expect of an employee who is being paid.

But we are all human, and sometimes things come up that are out of our control.
