Valerie Jarrett, former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, made an appearance on The View and made it clear that comedian Roseanne Barr is not weighing on her mind.

Addressing the controversy of Barr's infamous tweet comparing Jarrett to the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes, Jarrett says there are plently of other issues to be worrying about and that the tweet isn't keeping her up at night. She told the hosts of the show:

If one of you said something like that about me, that might hurt my feelings. This isn't what keeps me up at night. What keeps me up at night are those families being separated at the border. Or our children who go to school worrying about whether or not they're going to be safe and the parents dropping them off. These are the things that keep me up at night. Not a racist tweet.

Although it is clear that Jarrett wishes to take the high road, she couldn't help but throw a little shade. When asked about Barr's recent video release in which she claims she thought Jarrett was white, Jarrett responded:

Roseanne who?

Jarrett went on to say that she will not be watching Barr's upcoming interview on Fox and suggested that others don't either.

People appreciated Jarrett not playing into the drama of it all.

We can all take a page from Jarrett on how to play it cool.
