At a recent Trump rally in Beverly Hills, California, video of a group of dancers went viral on Twitter thanks to its shocking level of awkwardness.

In the video, the group of Trump supporters danced along to a parody of The Village People's "Y.M.C.A." with new lyrics that substitute in the President's well-known acronym "M.A.G.A." (Make America Great Again).

Twitter couldn't help but cringe at the M.A.G.A. dancers.

Beverly Hills residents were quick to distance themselves from the Trump-supporting event.

Many online pointed out the irony that the President's supporters were dancing to a song which because popular in the LGBTQ community of the 80's.

More than 200,000 Americans have died from the pandemic, but the Trump crowds continue to dance.

It's not hard to imagine how the Village People would feel about President Trump's supporters using their song.

Unfortunately, people don't get to choose what they do and do not remember for the rest of their lives.

The parody, written by an artist known as Dee Dee Plorable, is proud of the attention his song is getting, but most others on Twitter seemed to wish it never came to be.
