Since leaving the White House in January, former President Donald Trump has been living in his resort, Mar-a-Lago, in Florida.
On Sunday, March 7, however, President Trump returned to his hometown of New York city and was greeted by a less-than-overwhelming crowd of supporters.
President Trump, riding in the back of a black SUV, arrived at Trump Tower around 9pm where a single supporter stood outside to see him.

Twitter users ridiculed the former President for the lack of excitement from his own hometown.
Some people even suggested the lone supporter was being paid to greet Trump.
It's unclear why Trump chose to leave Mar-a-Lago, which he changed to his official residence during his term as President.
Trump is facing investigations in New York from the Manhattan district attorney and New York state attorney general.
Trump may still have fans scattered across the United States, but it seems very few of them live in his hometown of New York city.
