Trump's All-Caps Tweet About History Repeating Itself Turns Into Glorious Self-Own

President Trump's Twitter feed seems to exist in blissful unawareness of reality around him.

How else could tweets like this one be possible?

Many assume Trump wrote the tweet in defense of the many Confederate monuments that are being torn down in the midst of America's racial reckoning.

Surprising no one, President Trump seems to be on the side of the Confederacy, and seems to think tearing down monuments honoring their generals is akin to forgetting the Civil War.

But, as is almost always the case with President Trump, many felt his tweet said more about himself than the world around him.

Trump himself seems to be denying who the "bad guys" were during the Civil War.

Reasonable people can remember and learn about dark figures from history without honoring them with statues and military bases.

Italy and Germany remember WWII, Iraq remembers Saddam Hussein, Russia remembers communism and people in the United States applauded when monuments to the leaders of those periods were torn down.

Meanwhile, others felt they had to point out that President Trump hadn't remembered history well enough to get the quote right.

If anyone has been denying history lately, it's probably President Trump.

Many online used this brief history lesson to push them towards the polls this November.

Others felt Trump made the case to stop glorifying violent seditious traitors who fought for their right to own Black people as property.

One can only wonder if President Trump's behavior might change if an accurate history course was offered in the White House.

Kash Patel Lashes Out At Critics After Reports He Used Government Jet To Go Watch Girlfriend Sing

FBI Director Kash Patel lashed out at the "pathetic reports" that he used a government jet to fly to watch his 26-year-old girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, perform at a wrestling event, saying that "going after the people doing great work, my personal life, or those around me is a total disgrace."

Patel insisted the reports were an attempt to smear the “rock-solid conservative” Wilkins, whom he referred to as "a patriot." However, as a community note below his post on X also pointed out, the crux of the scandal is his use of government funds rather than his own to attend Wilkins' performances.

Trump Dragged After Making Outrageous Comparison To Zohran Mamdani In Viral Clip

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after he asserted during a 60 Minutes interview with Norah O'Donnell that he's "much better-looking" than New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani—a claim that not a soul is taking seriously.

Trump isn't exactly known to be a looker but he has nonetheless declared himself a "perfect physical specimen" and boasted about his physical prowess, once noting that his own White House physician had declared him "healthier than Obama"—despite Trump's distaste for exercise and fondness for fast food.

Gavin Newsom Rips Karoline Leavitt After She Says White House Toilet 'Horrified' Her Before Renovation

California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and the GOP at large after she claimed to have been "horrified" by the toilet in the Lincoln bathroom before President Donald Trump's marble renovation.

Trump shared an update about ongoing renovations aboard Air Force One while en route to Florida for the weekend, even as the federal government remains shut down and his administration continues to refuse to release all of the emergency funds to sustain SNAP food assistance benefits through November.
