A tattoo parlor in Scotland has earned high praise from the internet after an artist at the shop shared their recent text exchange with a disgruntled customer.
The customer was apparently upset their tattoo wasn't healing properly, so they texted Archangel 1608 Tattoo Studio to ask for a retouch.
But the conversation between artist and customer eventually revealed exactly who was responsible for the issues.
And when the customer fired back with threats of writing a bad review, the artist was happy to get right into the weeds, at one point calling them a "manky wee bastard."
The artist posted the entire exchange to Facebook, where it has since gone viral.
According to the first screenshot, the back and forth began routine enough, with the customer inquiring about some trouble in the healing process.
The customer complained that the color was fading quickly and quickly asked to come back in for a fix. The artist, however, had a few more questions.
After going through the basics of tattoo aftercare and asking for a photo, the artist assured the customer it would heal up fine if the followed the aftercare plan provided by the shop.
But the customer was unrelenting. They again complained, this time claiming that their dad felt the whole situation was "not right."
The artist dropped some knowledge in response.

But the customer didn't back down.
They again brought their dad's opinion into the mix and threatened to leave a bad online review. The artist wasn't intimidated whatsoever.
In fact, they fired back with an F-bomb.

The customer kept going nonetheless.
They explained that, in addition to using what the parlor instructed them to use for healing, they also used Savlon cream.
Why did they go off script? Because their dad said so of course.
For the artist, that was evidently the last straw.
They launched into a glorious, text wall tirade after that.

Looks like the customer can either continue with their dad and the Savlon cream, or swallow their pride and listen to the artist.
Either way, it doesn't look like they'll be winning via blackmail any time soon.
