The actor shared an outtake on 'The Tonight Show' of a supposedly 'trained' Huntsman spider biting her hand while filming a scene for 'Anyone But You.'

There’s acting and then there’s method acting.

While some actors go to great lengths to get their performance just right, sometimes method acting just happens to the actor. That was the case with actor Sydney Sweeney in a scene for her new movie Anyone But You.

In the scene, the character freaks out when a huntsman spider—which is enormous—crawls on her arm. Sweeney was mostly okay with the spider, but as she told late night host Jimmy Fallon, she wasn’t ready for her partner in the scene to actually bite her.

Sweeney had been assured that the spider was “trained,” but she told Fallon:

“I don’t know how you train a friggin’ spider.”

The spider, which is venomous but not usually enough to harm humans, was not supposed to bite her, and her screams for acting effect soon became real screams of terror.

In a clip shared with Fallon, the cast and crew took a moment to catch on that she wasn’t just acting.

People reacted to the size of the spider.

Some associated the spider with its native Australia.

Others imagined what they would do if that happened to them.

Sweeney's reaction was pretty intense, some pointed out.

Really, just some truly epic method acting.

Then there's Sweeney’s other new role as Madame Web in the upcoming film of the same name in 2024.

The rom-com that Sweeney endured the huntsman spider for is Anyone But You, which will be in theaters late this December.

Lauren Boebert In Hot Water After She's Busted Spending Campaign Funds On Kid Rock Concert Tickets

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert is facing criticism after Federal Election Commission (FEC) records showed she spent over $3,300 of her campaign funds on concert tickets and a hotel in Texas on the same weekend her once-rumored boyfriend—MAGA singer Kid Rock—was performing.

Boebert’s campaign reported expenses for a hotel stay in Arlington, Texas, and for event tickets purchased in May. On May 16, Boebert attended the Rock N Rodeo — part of the Professional Bull Riding Championship World Finals at AT&T Stadium — an event hosted by Kid Rock. She even shared a photo of herself with the singer on social media.

Ron Perlman Leaves Fans Stunned With Story About Peeing On His Hand Before Shaking Harvey Weinstein's

During an especially unsanitary round of storytime on Inside of You with Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum, Ron Perlman resurrected one of Hollywood’s most infamous bits of petty rebellion: the “pee-pee handshake” he claims he once served to convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein.

Back in the political chaos of 2018, the Sons of Anarchy star revealed that he deliberately peed on his hand before greeting Weinstein at a charity event.
