Snoop Dogg made headlines this week—and Twitter users are head-over-heels.

Iconic rapper and cookbook author Snoop Dogg recently took to Twitter to announce he had given his full-time blunt roller a raise, citing "inflation."

Yes, you read that right.

Snoop has a full-time employed personal blunt roller.

Between his music and acting career, Snoop is a busy man—and when you smoke as much of that green bud as he does, it would only make sense to want someone to always be ready with a freshly rolled joint for easy smoking access.

It all started back in 2019, when Snoop first announced he had a personal blunt roller during an interview on The Howard Stern Show.

During the interview, Snoop doted on his employee, stating his "timing is impeccable."

He said:

“That motherf*cker is like Lurch from the ‘Addams Family.’ ‘You rang?’”

Stern then asked Snoop to clarify if the man was formally employed and paid by Snoop.

Snoop replied:

“That’s his J-O-B--his occupation. On his résumé, it says, ’What do you do? I’m a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller."

Snoop then told Stern that his personal blunt roller was raking in between $40,000-50,000 per year on top of sweet job perks like free bud, flabbergasting his audience.

While having a hired, professional blunt roller is in itself a newsworthy story, the update came when Snoop announced that his hired help was given a raise to match the rapidly increasing cost of living due to inflation.

Earlier this week, the Twitter account Überfacts, which posts trivia, tweeted about Snoop having employed a professional blunt roller, citing the employee's salary as the aforementioned 40-50 grand per year.

Snoop then retweeted the post and updated he had in fact given his employee a raise to combat inflation.

He wrote:

“Inflation. Their salary went up!!”

Twitter users are falling over themselves to praise Snoop for being such a good boss.

While other rappers such as Waka Flocka Flame and Kid Cudi claim to be looking for their own professional weed handlers, Snoop is the only rapper to be confirmed to have a blunt roller on the payroll--for now.
