Pro-Trump Lawyer Now Claims the U.S. Military Is Part of Election Fraud Conspiracy

Far-right lawyer Sidney Powell rose to national infamy for spreading the delusion that the 2020 election was "stolen" from former President Donald Trump by Democrats engaging in widespread voter fraud.

Powell long claimed that elections software companies Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic conspired together to secure a victory for the long-dead Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, algorithmically perfecting technology that could sway an election to a predetermined candidate.

Dominion is not linked to Venezeula, nor has it ever partnered with Smartmatic. As for Smartmatic, the company actually exposed the Venezuelan government's lies about stratospheric election turnout in Venezuela in 2017, using its own election software data to do so.

The companies have sued Powell for defamation to the tune of billions of dollars. Powell's defense has argued that "no reasonable person" would believe her claims, and that she never stated them as fact (she did).

Now, Powell's conspiracy web has enlisted a new culprit: U.S. Military.

Watch below.

In an interview for an obscure conspiracy webcast, Powell said:

"For at least 20 years now, somebody other than the voters of the United States of America has been determining certain elections ... The Department of Defense knows damn well about it also, because they patented the process for real time monitoring of the election and doing exactly the same things back in 2005, and the government has an interest in a patent that allows for the predetermination of election results."

When asked by the host to confirm that "the Military, the Department of Defense holds this particular patent," Powell responded:

"Yes. Well, the government has an interest in these patents."

Powell was once again spewing deranged conspiracies.

People are growing weary of Powell's claims and the lack of consequences she's faced.

Powell is fully expected to continue eroding public faith in democracy.

"The rainbow bridge" is a euphemism for where deceased pets go after they pass, and people have called it that for decades now.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Dunks On Trump For Hosting The Kennedy Center Honors

California Governor Gavin Newsom trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated photo of himself accepting the inaugural—and not real—"Kennedy Center peace prize" from Trump.

The photo accompanied a post in which Newsom mocked not just Trump but also Ric Grenell, the Kennedy Center's president, whom Newsom referred to as a "janitor" in a post that—like many of Newsom's past posts—is written in a style not unlike the rants Trump publishes on Truth Social.
