'GMA' Drops Stylist After She's Accused Of Using Her 'White Privilege' To Damage Black Influencer's Career

Good Morning America has announced that stylist Jessica Mulroney will not be returning to the show following accounts of Mulroney's racist behavior from influencer Sasha Exeter.

Exeter spoke out against Mulroney in an 11-minute video, in which she detailed the stylist's poor behavior. In her Instagram post, Exeter said Mulroney reached out to her thinking she was personally attacking her in a post about the Black Lives Matter movement.

Here is Exeter's post where she names no names.

After this post, Exeter posted her video where she does name Mulroney.

You can watch it here:

In an Instagram story, Exeter also revealed Mulroney threatened to sue her.

"Here is what happens when you call out somebody with privilege and with wealth, okay? They publicly make an apology or a statement and privately behind closed doors, they send you a threat of filing a lawsuit against you."
"I'm not quite sure what's going on because I thought I was very clear yesterday in my video that I'm not going to be silenced and I'm not going to shut up."
"I'm going to move forward and do what I need to do essentially to protect myself at this point. But I'm feeling confident in doing so, knowing that I have the truth, the unequivocal truth."

Following Exeter's posts, both Good Morning America and CTV, the network which airs Mulroney's show I Do, Redo, issued statements severing ties with the stylist.

In the wake of her firing, Mulroney also issued statements apologizing for her behavior.

Mulroney also commented on her show's cancelation, saying:

"The events that have transpired over the last few days have made it clear that I have work to do. I realize more than ever how being a White, privileged woman has put me far ahead of so many, and in particular those in the Black community."
"And while I can't change the past, I can do my part to do better in the future. I respect the decision of CTV and have decided to step away from my professional engagements at this time."
"I'm going to take this time to reflect, learn and focus on my family."

Twitter was glad to see Mulroney facing consequences for her actions.

Racist behavior shouldn't be accepted in professional settings.

It seems Mulroney will not be appearing on the air again for quite a while.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
