Weeks after President-elect Joe Biden defeated outgoing President Donald Trump in the 2020 election, the Trump campaign's legal team—led by Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis—is still working to overturn the results.

The pair participated in a hearing on Wednesday in Georgia, which went blue for the first time in decades this year. Georgia certified these results two weeks ago.

Giuliani and Ellis repeated baseless claims that widespread voter fraud tipped the election to Biden, propping up witnesses who alleged the same.

As the hearing was underway, Giuliani falsely tweeted that the election was "PROVEN TO BE A FRAUD."

The former New York City Mayor's claim was likely alluding to surveillance video, presented at the hearing, of poll workers at a Fulton County, GA election facility. The video shows the workers pull suitcases from under a table and collecting papers from them.

Trump supporters painted the surveillance video as a bombshell, saying the workers were counting hidden ballots after poll osbervers had left for the night.

The state's Voting System Implementation Manager, Gabriel Sterling, debunked the false claim.

Giuliani's lie comes just days after Sterling admonished the President and his enablers after Trump supporters made death threats to election officials and poll workers.

Sterling also said:

"Mr. President, it looks like you likely lost the state of Georgia."

Sterling's assessment was further confirmed as Georgia recently released the results of its third recount, which Biden won yet again.

Trump and his legal team continue to dispute the results in Georgia and across the nation, claiming that the state's recounts were insufficient.

But Trump's critics aren't buying Giuliani's lies about widespread election fraud in Georgia.

Meanwhile, the President's supporters falsely believe the erroneous video presents cause to throw out the entire election and to punish those who haven't bent to the Trump campaign's lies about widespread fraud.

Even if Georgia's election results were thrown out—which they almost certainly won't be—it wouldn't be enough for Trump to reach the 270 electoral votes needed to take the White House.

Trump Is Weirding Everyone Out With His Bizarre Comments About Whole Milk

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after he made a clarification about "hole" vs. "whole" milk—yes, really—during a press conference about bringing whole milk back to schools.

Trump signed legislation on Wednesday restoring whole milk to school cafeteria menus, a move that reverses a 2012 Obama-era policy that restricted schools participating in the National School Lunch Program to serving only skim or low-fat milk, an effort aimed at curbing childhood obesity.
