Pop star Olivia Rodrigo had St. Louis fans cheering after teaming up with the Missouri Abortion Fund to offer free Plan B and condoms at her 'GUTS World Tour' show, a show of protest against anti-choice conservatives.

This initiative by Rodrigo was particularly significant given Missouri's stringent abortion laws, which are among the most restrictive in the nation.

The state's abortion bans offer minimal exemptions, primarily limited to cases of medical emergencies. Just last month, Republican lawmakers in Missouri moved to block proposed exemptions for instances of rape and incest, further tightening the state's grip on reproductive rights.

The Missouri Abortion Fund, in collaboration with the concert, provided emergency contraception and informational leaflets, reinforcing the significance of protecting abortion rights.

In a nod to Rodrigo's track "Bad Idea Right?" from her sophomore album "Guts," the informational flyers emphasized the importance of funding abortion, echoing the star's commitment to reproductive freedom.

Many have praised the singer for using her platform to act against efforts to restrict reproductive freedom.

Rodrigo's advocacy for reproductive rights extends beyond her concert initiatives.

In 2022, she publicly condemned the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, dedicating a powerful cover of Lily Allen's 2009 hit "F**k You"—a track initially influenced by the prevailing ultra-conservative political parties in both the U.S. and the U.K. during that period—to the Justices responsible for the repeal.

The performance, delivered at the Glastonbury Music Festival, underscored Rodrigo's unwavering stance against efforts to restrict reproductive freedom, resonating with audiences worldwide and becoming one of the most potent viral moments immediately after the ruling.
