Rebel Wilson Reveals She Was Nearly Left 'Permanently Disfigured' By Accident On Film Set

While promoting her new film, Bride Hard, Wilson recounted how an accident on the last day of filming left her requiring the services of a plastic surgeon.

After first becoming friends more than 14 years ago on the set of the first Pitch Perfect movie, Anna Camp and Rebel Wilson are back together in Bride Hard, now with Camp as the bride and Wilson as her best friend, and also a secret agent.

There is some chance of injury in almost any job, but with stunts in an action film, there are bound to be incidents, even if it's just a few stubbed toes.

What's funny is that the dynamic duo liked to pull pranks on all of their coworkers and staff while on set, and they even managed to trick the director into thinking that they had been injured a few times.

But when Wilson was accidentally struck in the face with a stunt weapon, it was obviously not a prank.

During an interview with Access Hollywood, the pair revealed that Wilson was injured during her last night on set.

"In a fight scene, a gun accidentally got whacked across my face. It was just a freak accident. And my nose got split open, so I left set. It was weirdly my last night of shooting, so I was like, 'Ahh, how unlucky can I be?'"
"If anybody's had a facial injury, they know there's so much blood."
"They take me in an ambulance and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn't, I would have been permanently disfigured."
"So we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can't even tell now."
"It was just one of those freak accidents. You have gotta be careful with on-set safety, even when it's three in the morning and everybody's tired."

Fans were shocked by the news that this happened and were grateful that Wilson was okay.

We're glad Wilson's injury wasn't more serious. She may be ready to jump into the next action film, but it's always good to remember that safety comes first!

Trump Is Bragging Again That He Got A Bigger Crowd In 2019 Than MLK's 'I Have A Dream' Speech Did—And The Delusion Is Staggering

President Donald Trump's delusions are off the charts given he's claiming he had more people in the crowd for his "Salute to America" July 4th event in 2019 than the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had for his famous "I Have a Dream" speech that he gave during the 1963 March on Washington.

According to the National Park Service, roughly 260,000 people participated in the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. The demonstration brought together a largely Black but broadly diverse coalition of Americans demanding an end to racial discrimination and equal rights for Black citizens.
