Portland Protester Leaves Police Bewildered After Confronting Them Wearing Only A Hat And A Face Mask

After all of the crazy things that have been happening in Portland, a little light in the dark emerged after a story surfaced of a woman who confronted police and national security officers by showing up in literally nothing—except for a hat and a mask.

Protesters in Portland found themselves confronted by unidentified federal security forces, who have been reportedly abducting protesters into unmarked vans, intimidating them and refusing them their rights for over 24 hours at a time.

However, the national security officers were confronted with a situation they certainly did not know how to handle when a "Naked Athena," as she's been dubbed, showed up and confused the heck out of them.

The woman, who remains unidentified, single-handedly turned back an abundance of police and has received internet-wide praise for it.

The police reportedly also shot pepper balls at the woman, who was protected by another protester.

The method of protest, while unconventional, is still protected in Portland as a method of legitimate protest.

What is happening in Portland is extremely unsettling for many.

But some people, like Naked Athena, are coming up with new ways to protest in response.

Kudos to their indomitable spirit.
