Some of us are more social than others, leading us to label ourselves as introverts, extroverts, or even ambiverts. Similarly, we all need different amounts of time to "bounce back" and feel like we've recharged our social batteries after going out.
Sometimes, we feel pressured to be social, and we might give in even when our bodies are screaming at us to please say no.
Fortunately, there are people like Pedro Pascal here to remind us that it's okay to say no.
While attending the Ballerina premiere in London, TikToker Sam Cornforth caught sight of the Last of Us actor down at the front of the theater, looking up at the latest edition in the John Wick franchise.
After the premiere was over, Cornforth and his friends watched Pascal walk up the theater steps alongside musical artist Seán Seraphim and his housemates.
Seraphim appeared to ask Pascal if he wanted to spend time with them after the show, and his response was nothing short of iconic.
Smiling, Pascal turned and leaned toward Seraphim, confiding:
“H**l no! I am a lazy 50-year-old bougie b***h!”
Cornforth and his friends caught the moment, which unfolded right next to their row of seats, on camera and were left cackling over Pascal's candor. Cornforth looked at the screen, baffled and amused, as the group continued to climb the stairs and shrunk in the background.

Fellow TikTokers were amused by Pascal's reaction and felt validated for sharing the same sentiment.

Leave it to Pascal to say something perfectly hilarious while also delivering a vital life lesson.
This is a great reminder that we all have our own thresholds for social gatherings, resting time, and what we consider to be fun.
Pascal might have enjoyed the premiere, but if he felt like his social battery was drained after that, it was awesome that he honored his own boundaries. We should take it as a cue to respect our own.
